First, this weekend i am going to a local highschool with my highschool's robotics team (entered in the VEX robotics competition, as seen here), and we are entering a tournament, with the first prize being an entry to the grand finals in Disney (world or land, idfc) in Florida. Naturally, our team wants to win so we can go to Florida. I am not actually driving one of the robots (i can't dedicate enough time), although i am gathering data from the robot pits (info on other robots, size/weight, scoring mechanism).
My school has 5 teams in this tournament. 211 A, C, S, W and Z. We have a good chance to either win the entire tournament or win one of the awards that also gives finals entry. Anyways, im really excited for this, and its only the beginning of my 3 weekends.
(Warning) GSL3 Spoilers ahead, skip this spoiler if you don't know anything about the GSL matches

Next weekend, everyone should know about the GSL Finals is on. Its at 5am for me, so i gotta wreck my entire weekend sleep schedual to watch it. Imo its gonna be worth it. There is a protoss in the finals (IrOn AKA MC), who will procede to DOMINATE the terran (Rain) with his superior PvT skills. I don't need to say much here, because most people on the site are already super pumped for the match (even though it will lack some major chin power). And if you didn't think that could be topped...
Weekend 3 is Xmas. Since i am athiest, i do not celebrate Christmas. I do, however, celebrate Xmas, which is the exact same thing as Christmas, just without all the baby jesus and religious stuff. The rest of my family is pretty much on the fence with their religions. I'm not going to turn this paragraph into why im athiest. So for Xmas i asked for a set of new overear headphones (Sennheiser Hd 428s), a few DVDs, Guiness world records 2011 (i collect them, whatever), TBBT season 3, 6-cell netbook battery, and a new mic headset.
I doubt i will get all of that, but its nice to dream.
And i am not even gonna get started on New years the weekend after than, and then my b-day the next weekend.
Guess i am going to enjoy the weekends much more than normal for the next little while.
