I was having a kinda downer day when I was doing a search for a comment I made earlier this week. Then I ran across this.

Some of these people didn't know me, and it didn't matter that they didn't know me, all they needed to know was that I shared a connection to this site, and, indirectly, a connection to them. It's a great feeling that the community can so easily rally behind someone even if it's just to celebrate the small things in life. Like my birthday.
