Hi guys,
I have been drinking a little, but I thought I'd give a shot at double expo (scbw zerg style) against terran on cross spots.
Granted I didn't scout that he was cross spots until after I decided on the build, but lets just call that the alcohol in effect.
What are your thoughts on this as a possible opening against a hardwall(rax + fast factory) Terran? I know my stalker was late and realisitically I'm lucky the guy didn't pressure harder, but still.

Edit: Important note: I was playing toss.

It's only viable when your opponent goes 1 rax cc, and even then I'm not so sure, because bunker rushes are extremely potent even with a 1 rax cc.
|
If you are going 3 hatch before pool your opponent almost has to be going CC before raxx and even then im not sure how the timing work for SC2. But It is probably not worth it because of queens, the reason it was done in BW was for larvae to make drones, but with 2 queens it is almost the same as 4 hatches, so I dont think its needed. Just take your third when you get mutas out and drone that up.

I dont ever remember double expoing against T in bw....
Edit- Nvm i thought u were z lol
|
Unlike T in bw T in sc2 are highly mobile and have advantage early game unlike scbw where the T kinda had to be very careful. (reaver drops zealots ect...)
Do i dont think this would work

double expo should be standard play for zerg nowadays, considering how much mineralz they end up having

2 hatch before pool (3rd hatch at main) in ZvP (especially against 4warpgate) seems a lot tempting to me. Should I give a shot that one before or after drinking?
Disclaimer: I'm not trolling. I tried fast expand into 3rd hatch in main after pool in a ZvP where my opponent 4 warpgated me and I still won without having too much difficulty
