P1:Ranting about why i wrote this post, why it is constructed in poor grammar and wrongful use of engrish. (thank you for your critisism) P2: The actual rant, and my random need of showing some appriciation for the passionate and proffesional ones.
P1: ( Making a small edit to the post, with a small note regarding to the way how, and why i wrote it: Ty for some kind words. And lol at some wry coments imitating my bad grammar. While i would just like to go sigh and leave it at that. Due to the pointless contribution of grammar-police(-eningerists).. I alsow felt like i wanted to apolygize for the fact that there is some truth to what you say, it beeing unreadable. And that can be anoying to the point it forces you to troll some. So i will try to clean it up as well as i can after iv'e blamed a couple of things, hoping i wont rage someone for taking up their attention with bull' making as little sense as my choise of nickname: It's a nice puddle of conflicting reasons for it. Among them to give a few examples are: Me thinks i has dyslectica. Im swedish. I had, and will continue to have alot, alot, and alot of things on my mind. That i would much rather had preferd to interacted with. In any other ways than just balling em around for myself. I am as mentiond, terrible at using: "," I got A.D.D (the none hyper version). My mind works in a way that i am almost unhealthily creative. But at the same time counteractivly unproductive. Leading to me beeing a guy who gets intimidated by even the thought of making an account at a comunity-website that i already love and follow. Since i know i can't restrain myself alot of the times. Nor keeping things as short and simple as i would like. And that is alsow why my post came out -as someone of you said- like an unintentional poem. Anything i do, attended for or unintentionally. Does presents it self in that way... So anyways... Ending "the small note". By saying that the intention for making it. Wasn't to state my "imo-best-casters". It wasn't to simply just say ty for the cast it was great.. etc I think it mostly was as i said to vent of some shite. But the most important part of why now, and how. Is that i think most of us can agree there have been alot of shity feelings floating down the lane of everything between balance, production values, greed, tourneys and so on. Some of it legit, and granted for beeing up for disscussion. Some of it well put. But too much of it just beeing empty thoughts of complaing individuals that just reapeat what they hear.
Today (all things aside) theese three casters made an highly entertaining experience, that to me was so satisfying. And alsow the balance panel that Dusting B and the gang had was so needed, and very well done. Beeing part of what lead me to do this that i did, and something i feel everyone else should do aswell. Feel and show some grattitude. There is alot of people diserving of it.)
P2: While i sit and watch intense army-engagements, controld by top players; NEXGenius and Loner during their matches at blizzcon tonight.
Something kept striking me with it's surprisingly high standard. And due to a mind stressd with so much thoughts, feelings and stuff regarding SC and everything related to it. I felt like i wanted to vent some of it by posting my apriciation towards how even you three kept overexceeding your selves during tonights high quality casting.
In a daily stream of both simple and more complex day to day conflicting montages of thoughts, opinions, reactions and statements. Whether if it beeing alot of crap, or alot of good shit. Carrying around alot of shit on your own shoulders, or just swiming through that what is everyone else beside yourself's sewer-levels. It is Included with paths that are both rewarding and punishing. It is simply the tunel we got and just have to swim through if you want to find out the good stuff. Looking for distractions and keeping yourself entertaind, reaching something that is somewhat of a peacefull and apriciated "satisfaction-resort" state of mind. Our computers the "E-sport-Vehicle's" which are the means of how we travle. And the internet that is the terrain on which we have to follow. It got alot of up and downs. And it is not only regarding starcraft, nor is it Sololy in blizzards hands to make it a "Show of a life time"
For what it's worth. I know im rambling. I know that it is probably just alot of mindless word-pooping to many of you, if even anyone reads this, that is. But if it is, or if what i say means more to you and are something you could somewhat relate too. Then that's great and i apriciate any sort of feeling for -while mayby distant-, still consistent of an understanding conection that goes beoynd "thumbs-up's" and trolling.
We are all here because we love starcraft. And tonight i felt alot of looouuvee . Im wow'd by an overwhelming feeling of, finding that kind of familiar satisfaction. That comes with it, when a highly anticipated SC-event overexceeds it expectations. An little break in my happy distraction-resort. In my troubled mind. Anoyd and many times confused unhappyness. wrestling with my own aswell as others: "wtf's-why-do/don't-they-just:... I had a moment of beeing able to just let it go and enjoy it.
And that is the cast of three state-of-the-art intellects, who undoubtly has alot of experience, passion and thoughts about everything that is going on, on their own. In starcraft, e-sport and whatnot. A tricicle tha't has known, and shared all of this with eachother. Aswell as in RL-life and online witho others for a long time.
They menage to maintain that personal relation and friend-to-friend kind of presentation to us during their casting at blizzcon. While they alsow keep up a sort of proffesionolism that even has a guy like me, and his friend on skype. Who have followd that growth for many years. Stund by at what level they are excecuting it all at.
So again. Sry for overdoing things in various ways, im sure. but thats the only way how i could do it atm
Like i wanted from the begining. Trying to have it simply put; Nick, Sean and Dan thank you. You put a new meaning to the word impeckable, with your cast tonight!

you should use more commas, to, make your sentences even, more convoluted, and, run, on.

I'm pretty sure english is the official language of Team Liquid.

looking at this hurts my eyes

I just fell out of my chair.
But i think I agree completely with what the OP is saying, if I understand it correctly. The casting itself was pretty well done, especially in comparison to a lot of the other things going on at blizzcon.
I very much agree with the OP. Very well done. I hope Blizzard/Gretech sends Day9 to Korea to cast. I would wet myself.
He's definitely staying in the US, he's said this before and he has a degree to finish.
he said in an interview he has no plans to go to Korea he wants to help the North American scene as much as he can. So don't expect him there anytime soon.
Don't forget Dustin Browder
I think the reason they are so good is because they genuinely love the game itself.
I think people are really overdoing it with the threads thanking everyone who participates in anything SC2 related. Yes we love our casters and the GSL translators etc. but I don't think it's very hard to assume a lot of people do.
By far the best e-sport casters I've ever seen. Keep up the good work guys.
I didn't understand a word of that but I agree, good job guys!

Wise words.
Good work all of you!

Thought the finals were pretty one sided IMO, there were a lot of trade battles but it was clear that NEXGenuis was the better player. The casting was great and they handled the technical difficulties very well, still feel that though that everything they say I've heard it all before. I think at this stage it's time to stop explaining what units do and stuff in the casts and stop explaining simple stuff.
This is the best trio ever!
Day[9] leading and great synchrony among them, awesome cast, best cast ever.
Here's my artistic rendition of them I posted on [SFW] thread

There's nothing wrong with showing some gratitude. SC2 just wouldn't be as exciting without them in my opinion. I don't think you should ever assume people know you are grateful for what they do.
the stream cut out right before the end, and i'm left here with a feeling of emptiness.
You guys did great work. Such a nice Saturday, good job.
im confused as too the point of this thread?, are you just saying they did a good job at their job?
All the casters did a great job, but Day9, Artosis, and Tasteless really stand out above the rest.
Why is there another one of these threads.
Yes, they did well, as they always do. You can't make one of these threads for everything, can you?
"Thanks Finalist A and Finalist B for playing so well in the finals of Tournament X!" "Thanks for the great casts, Caster A and Caster B!"
Guys, guys, don't be so harsh. This is the best work of unintentional postmodern poetry ever written on TeamLiquid.
Was it just me or did Day9 cast circles around Tasteless?
*fans the flames*
Idra did a good job casting at GSL in the absence of tasteless and artosis
Despite the fact that your post was unreadable, I think I agree.
I didn't read the OP as I am shitfaced as fuck! - However, I just want to sing amazing grace with the thought of the epic matches that has been fought tonight, as I am sure it was full of epix.
Nice job players Nice job casters
Probs from me

And yet Blizzard wouldn't even give them chairs to cast on...
agreed, great casts so far. i have enjoyed watching

I think we all realize at this point that observing well and casting is hard as fuck.

Tasteless needs more monkey milk.
I couldn't really understand the post, but I believe it was praising Tastosis 9. In that regard, I agree.

Artosis set himself apart during this tournament. He is a seriously turning into a top-notch caster.
Big thanks! When i find out that was gonna be 3 casters (even tho a good ones <3) i was little afraid of result, but after seeing the result i was totally wrong.
Top casters!!
The trio did a superb job AS ALWAYS at any event. This year's BlizzCon was horrid, but because of them, they saved the event for me. I wish that Browder and the other guy didn't have to commentate... No offense to them, but Day9, Tasteless, and Artosis are on another level.
Imo it was cool that Browder and Rob Simpson also commentated some matches With day[9] as the lead commentator it actually was pretty cool
+1. Easily the best commentating I've ever heard. The three of them work so well together and the commentary was easily some of the highest quality commentary around.

oh yeah ill agree to that tasteless on camera was excellent too, much better than his commentary IMO
Oi trying to read this is giving me a headache
Thank you Artosis Thank you Day9 Thank you Tasteless
Thank you all players. And even thank you Blizzard
I like each of the individual casters but did anyone else feel like they were sort of "dumbing down" the commentary for blizzcon? By no means am I saying these guys aren't good at what they do. It just felt that compared to the GSL, Gom.tv, Artosis TV and other venues where I see these folks, they were explaining a lot of fundamental things. Just picking some examples, the explanation that factories can be used to scout since they float and arent part of some builds. Also saying mules are short lived but better miners. There just seemed like something was off. Also hearing full building names that they all typically shorten in their others casts. There was no "cyber core, raxx or CC." It was "cybernetics core, barracks and command center." Maybe blizz wanted them to tone down the analysis and shorthand. Not hating. Just curious if anyone else noticed.
I liked everything except the 'shameless' plugging after fruitdealers win, those highly entertaining and I might say epic games deserved a little more glorification than 'hey he beat boxer now buy my shirts'... seemed a little meh and unprofessional for a blizzcon event. Other than that it was pretty awesome, I especially liked Dustin's appearance with the casters.
Great job by the casters, Tasteless even came up to thank me for buying one of his shirts <3. Seem like great guys.
"So what was the hardest part of the tournament for you?"
"This tournament wasn't really that difficult to win."
LOL!!!!!!

To me that was one of the things that kept fueling in to all the details that i felt was so proffesionaly handled. There are more things of importence then just doing as an impressive showcase to what they know, and what is going on in the match. When they are casting an event, considering this was blizzcon that is an event where theese sort of things might be aspecialy true. I.e when there are fans or just targeted audiences, among completly different genres and medias that to SC. Who can be possible consumers or new people taking interest in E-sport to name a few. There is a challenge to have the stamina for mentaining different levels of quality in what you are actualy saying, what you realy want to say, and what things you rather not repeat yourself with, and most importently what the people listening will think you are saying. and so on and so on(UKnoWhaImSayin? )
And if we ever feel like we are targets of preaching to the choir. I still belive they are doing a great job of handling just that with as an small price tag to pay for it as possible. Just like some who will read my coment, will feel; well that kinda goes without saying. That wasn't how you felt it. And that is not an matter of stupidnes. And just like they all already know, and said many times before. Factories can be used to lift up and scout with. They alsow know that i.e "these vikings are overruning the collosi, mayby HT's would be a good transition" And it is not dumbing down it is just adepting for the sake of more things than personal presentation and up'ing the already understanding e-sport-belivers entertainment.
Bah sry for beeing ssuch a wanabe-convolutative ramblingRambler Anyways. Great to see many that highly enjoyd the casts. And tx for some nice stuff said in response to my first post here =)

I can't possibly bring myself to read the entire post, but I agree with it in spirit, I'm sure.
I'd also like to thank Tastosis9/Daystosis/what have you.
They did an amazing job casting the tournament and acted as wonderful ambassadors for the game to the thousands of Blizzcon attendees who weren't familiar with how interesting this game can be.

Blizzcon had a broader audience than the typical tournament cast. It's an excellent opportunity to pick up more e-sports fans, so might as well avoid alienating them by using 'lingo'.
The 'elite' fans should still be able to tolerate slightly less sophisticated casting.
Yep thank you Artosis, Day9, and Tasteless for simply existing, seriously that is all you have to do to be awesome.

I think they did an excellent job at that. They kept the "Baby's first RTS" stuff in the early game where they would usually talk random crap anyway, since nothing is going on. Every now and then they'd clarify a term they were using but they were still doing great commentary throughout.
