Can I Disable These Tabs?

I've lost more games than I can count by accidentally overwriting my hatchery key because I clicked on one of these with something else selected. Anyone know how to turn them off? I want to write one of those "fuuuuu" comics about these >.<

I really wish you could. It doesn't really affect me too much, but the simple fact that they exist is redundant. You can't even make hotkeys unless you're using the keyboard- why does blizzard think we then want to click our hotkeys?

I like them there as a graphical element but I think that's all they should be, or at least an interface option to disable them one way or the other.

I'm pretty sure in the options tab you can make it so that you can only open those tabs through the hotkeys.

On a related topic I really wish you could also get rid of the "X is slowing down the game" messages that appear in the middle of my goddamn screen constantly during custom games. Also, the message reminding me to hit enter to reply every single game, yeah I get it.

he's not talking about the menu bar at the top..he's talking about the hotkey bar at the bottom of the game screen

That being said, I really wish the menu bar at the top wasn't there either. I can't count the number of times I've clicked up there and get the "messages" box.

Edit: Woah thanks fabiano! I always forgot to look for that in the options because I'm too busy in a game and by the time I get out I forgot it happened :p

I'm looking for the very same information.

Those tabs are completely useless and if you missclick on them you change your control groups scheme, really really annoying.

I've searched everywhere in game but could not disable that shit.

Edit: to poster above, you can disable that menu bar on top in the options.

No, there is no way to disable that. Nor can you disable the updates on the left (which when you accidentally click one, it sends you to where it happened).

To add to the complaints, I don't get why they don't let us move location keys to F1-F4 or wherever. As they are now they're completely out of the way and useless.

I can't stand this so called feature. It's absolutely retarded... Even MORE useless than the clickable menu/alerts but you can't even disable them? LOL WTF? Sheesh

you cannot disable the battery level warnings either, which is good for most people but my battery doesnt work properly so I always get a "low battery" message right after i split at the start of the game. So annoying.
