Yeah, I suppose I wasn't clear. For me I played Terran for years and only at the end of like a 9 year run did i reach the B rank with Terran . I did play protoss when i first started playing, and i just found it easier to get to achieve that same level with them. For me the Challenge of terran was in mastering the micro of bio and tech, tech of course being easier. Although in SC2 micro doesnt seem to be as difficult except for maybe sieging *now there are two keys to press to get them in and out of siege mode* and emp can be difficult at times with ghosts. I miss so much reavers in sc2, that was my favorite unit to micro with protoss. In sc2 the hardest thing to micro is templers, and storm which isn't all too difficult.

Also, just as a side note, you can Nuke in all MU, though it's definitely hardest TvT.

I steamroll all 800-900 Zergs I meet (about 4 now) without even knowing what I'm doing (no reapers as well). Can you post a few replays of you steamrolling zerg without them playing particularly badly and maybe analyze a couple of them? How are you doing tvz?

I agree with you(I'm a z player), but maybe just maybe, they don't know what they're doing aswell?

Also to the guy using a guest account and saying P>T? Rigght... people are not that good until you start hitting around 800ish diamond, and then you start running into people who have some RTS skill. Void rays are not that great against Terran if they build any marines/turrets. They're only good if the Terran goes really heavy on marauders, otherwise they seriously have to screw up to lose or be at a disadvantage. Viking/marine deters void rays from doing anything at all, since the vikings can plink away at them while the marines protect them.

PvT is hard tho, you need a real strategy just like you do in TvP. I think they should buff zerg instead of nerfing terran, I'm tired of muta/baneling all the time.

I used to think the problem was just a slight ZvT imbalance, but lately I've been thinking Z is just weak all around. It wasn't the countless unit/strategy analysis threads or statistics on tl. It's the fact that me and my zerg peers can often beat each other off-racing. If someone with 20 Terran games under their belt can compete with someone with 500 Zerg games under their belt, something is seriously wrong. I guess one could argue that Zerg is just much, much harder to learn, but when this imbalance is seen at the top as well (as seen compiled in the recent stat thread) it just seems hopeless. If the minor nerfs of the upcoming patch don't cause significant change, I'll be switching to Terran. Uphill battles are only fun for so long.

I've noticed that Terrans are starting to really handle it very well. Rather than getting a lot of thors, some very excellent terran players just rely on their great bio micro, and do a very very top notch job at macroing a huge bio ball. In situations like that going back to the good 'ol Hydras ling bling mix works very well. What the hell is going on with this game.

I played against a group of friends, most of them 1k+ in diamond. After the first 2-3 games, I could actually beat a few of them (the zerg were easier). My protoss friend, who is 1250 in diamond (was in top 100 when I did this, it was a few weeks ago), I beat him 2 times out of 5 games. It was a little sad. I know that he is a good player, so don't say stuff like he doesn't know what he's doing, blah blah blah. However, I do agree with the fact that protoss is "easy" to learn and play, but I think that's only applicable at lower levels...since you can just 4 gate to get up to 1k diamond. But once people are aware of how to stop it, it's not as easy as people think... Oh well, I probably shouldn't be posting this because there is no point in arguing against Terran players that their race is too strong. It'll just be the same replies defending their race. Most people just think their race is the weakest, so I suppose it can't be helped (although I'd say a huge majority think Terran is too strong, including a lot of Terran players).
