So far, my tenure in Diamond has been hell. I just seem too squeak out cheap wins and I feel like shit doing so. My only win came on desert oasis when I void rayed some poor guy :|.
It sucks, because while in platinum, I was beating platinum and diamond players consistently. Now, wins are becoming more and more scarce. As much as I like the shiny, blue like the sea diamond, I don't like the red, bloody mess that has over taken my match history. Whether I spawn as zerg, protoss, or terran (yes, even terran. go ahead and laugh :/ ) I am just getting out played and just not pushing at the right times.
Maybe my army composition is sucking? Maybe it's my timing? Maybe I'm not scouting enough. Maybe it's a little of all of the above. Either way, as much as I hate to use an internet meme, feels bad, man.
Anyways, sorry for the bitching rant. Who else can I go to and say "Man, I blow chunks at starcraft" without being looked at funny? As always, thanks for reading and sorry again.

Read strategy guides, watch your replays, and practice...

It's not so much your league, as much as who you're playing. The people you get placed against aren't always equal as you. If you resistantly beat people around you, they'll play you against higher people until you cannot win anymore. That becomes the upper limit, and from there they'll keep moving down until they find the right spot for you.
Don't worry though, takes these games as a chance to get better! You may find you're better, despite losing!

if your in diamond its only because u already have a 50% win ratio against diamond players, so i dont think its that.

Thanks for the replies guys ^^; You're too kind. I suppose it could just been one of those weeks. I've even managed to snag a few decent diamond players to practice against. Those games haven't been going hot either, heh. It's just so discouraging sitting at almost the complete bottom of my division after sitting in top 10 all the way from beta when I was in copper and worked my way up to here now. I literally have a notepad with me now when I watch replays. How much of a fucking dork am I? XD Oh well.

Just try not to feel disheartened when you loose. Remember you are playing not to get wins, but to get better Keep on playing!

Thanks, you guys are the best. You all gave me the pick me up I needed to get back at it. Here I go ^^;

The macro skill differential has been drastically decreased by sc2's easier mechanics and the high damage output of many units makes composition, unit placement and micro very important. As a zerg, I lose games I have a macro lead in if I miss-micro or attack in the wrong place, and I win games I have a macro deficit in if I make the right units and flank/spread well. Maybe what you say is more true for Protoss and Terran, but a single engagement error can end a lot of games for zerg.

I just couldn't seal the deal.
