Hello all. I've played T and random throughout the beta and have exclusively played random since release. I'm currently a diamond player with about 400 points after about 60 games.
After a particularly bad streak today (2-9) I've began wondering if I need to pick a race to get any further in the ladder. I feel like I have solid builds in every mu but the subtitles for most are a little beyond me (like how to react to strange enemy builds). So I guess I'm looking for input for which race to focus on or to stay random.
This is how I'd rank my mu's from best to worst:

And this is how I'd rank them from most enjoyable to least:

To me I'd play T in a second if it weren't for TvT. Let me know what you think!

terran imho, clearly, as u rate both tvz and tvp as enjoyable and that u are good at it. just develop a good tossup all-in strategy for tvt which ends quickly in either win or loss. something like that 3 barracks tactic. if u stay close to 50% winrate in tvt, u should be fine imho unless u aim for getting #1 in diamond...

Pick terran. you'll win more lol. No seriosly pick what you have fun with most. If you absolutly hate playing TvT just play protoss or zerg.

Depends on why you play the game in the first place.
If you want to enjoy while you play, you obviously pick the race you enjoy playing the most.
If you want to win while you play, you obviously pick the race you win the most with?
Or have I missed something?

Play terran and just race pick against terran, problem solved
Edit: whoops I forgot this sc2, lol. I agree with the guy above me just play cheesy builds to finish it quick

I think that picking a race will help you improve more quickly and advance in your ladder. It gets hard to be random and advance up because you will always so much more on your mind. I say go with terran and who know maybe you will find a clever style to make tvt a little more enjoyable.

Don't pick zerg. Pick Terran, TvZ is the easiest matchup by far now.
