Eh, my laptop runs SC2 pretty well on the absolute lowest settings. It's also three years old and has integrated graphics.

I don't have any issues with SCII on my desktop (bought a new 9800GT EE just for SCII), but quite a few of my friends who have beta keys can't get SCII to run lag-free on their computers. It sucks :/

1. How do you know that RAM is the bottleneck and not the CPU/graphics card? 2. If it is the RAM, what's stopping you from buying a stick of ram? Would cost less than the $600 full game lol

My power cut out yesterday after a 25 minute epiz TvZ on Steppes of War, I had a pretty big advantage <_< .

My computer can run it fine (on lowest graphics), but my internet sucks, and my parents don't want to splurge on a better service. Half of my losses are due to disconnects

My God.. that poor poor fellow from the Wii video. You shouldn't wish for such a thing mate..

I know the feeling... I put all the settings on low/off and I still get the popup saying my computer is lagging the game. I still get a craptastic response time on when I click vs. when it responds and I'm not sure if it's the computer chugging along or if it's bnet being very slow... probably a mix of both.
I blame the integrated geforce 6150 LE video card. The problem is that if I want to replace that, I most likely also have to upgrade the power supply, which snowballs into having to upgrade the mobo. Bah.

My laptop lags in 2v2 sometimes in big fights

i only lag in bw ;d its windows 7 btw

RAM is probably not your problem btw, most likely your graphics card or CPU, and it'll cost about $50 for a graphics card that can run SC at low-med settings
