Mobilicity Cell Phones?

Has anyone tried cell phones from Mobilicity?

More specifically, how is the reception and service?

They are offering $35 for unlimited talk & text without a contract, and that is an amazing deal as far as i'm concerned. (Unless people know of better?) Just wondering if it is really too good to be true.

The only thing is, when I'm outside the GTA/coverage area i'll get roaming charges.

Anyways, I live in Mississauga/Toronto, and I can cancel if I need to move or w.e
Seems like a good deal to me, these are all their plans and these are their available phones at the closest dealer to me (i think).

Sounds like a good deal to me, so you get charged if you leave the coverage area, do you know how much per minute? Also how about texting, when you're out of the area?

I've never heard of Moblicity before. I'm using Koodoo right now. Unlimited Texting, 100 minutes, Unlimited in the afternoon for only for $25 and no contract

Plus Caller-ID which totals to $31

In Canada it's 20 cents per minute, 10 cents per text for roaming areas (outside of greater toronto area)

Yeah Mobilicity is a brand new company, and unlimited talk+text (caller id and voicemail included) for $35 without a contract is
unfuckingbelievably good, so good in fact that it seems sketchy.

Thats why I'm asking if there's a catch.

i figure the catch is, coverage is non-existent
wind is pretty awesome too as far as plans are concerned but when you're outside a windzone you're fucked
which is why i'm not using wind

You also have to consider the fact that it seems good because the fact that Rogers/Bell/etc in Canada have been absolutely gouging Canadians for years. :/

edit: Suppose it's the fact their coverage is so small, but it seems fine if you're not an avid traveler or anything.

Yeah, been hearing horror stories about their coverage, you leave their area - might as well leave the area bent over with your pants down (If you use your phone a lot of course).
I still hate the fact that I'm being gouged by Rogers though... they were the only guys to have sims back then...
