I gurantee you 90% of the people posting in this thread are really on the right regarding economic policy, the poll is just worded badly to a point that people are identifying as pro-socialism without realizing is.
Basically, if you're truly on the "left", you believe the government should own and control the majority of the businesses out there, from Google to the restaurant down the street from your house. If you're on the absolute left, you probably believe there shouldn't be private property at all, and thus you probably shouldn't be posting on a computer, as that's "theft".
Here's what people need to look at.

edit: Not that I necessarily agree with some of the placements, but it's clear there's some kind of bias here if so many people are being positioned in accordance with Stalin on economic matters.
