Map Publishing Errors

Kantutan Canada1319 Posts May 30 2010 02:20 GMT #1 Alright, so when I go to publish the custom map I made, it always ends up giving me a 'Default values are not valid' error during the upload process. It doesn't say what the specific problem is and so the uploader has absolutely no clue what needs to be fixed before the map can be published. I made my map two weeks ago and it was all set to be published when map publishing became available. Since then I haven't been able to figure out the problem so I pretty much stopped all work with the map editor. What's the point in working on any other maps if I might end up with this error somewhere along the line as well and not even be able to play it once it's complete? I've tested this map on bnet before map publishing was available using the map switcher tool and everything worked fine. Anyways, I think Blizzard needs to make it so the error messages are more specific and not some vague line that could mean anything. Google searches for 'default values are not valid' result in many threads on the battle.net forums and other places where people have this problem and no one knows what to do about it.

Broodie Canada832 Posts May 31 2010 00:18 GMT #3 this is the error im having, i have a few maps made but cant seem to do anything aboot that if it means anything, i had the editor up when the 13th patch finished and its gave me some invalid parameter related to the editor whenever i go to publish it just says what it says in the bottom left of the picture
