Everybody knows who Shin Sang Moon is. Leta is the Ace match bonjwa and the ace of the 6 (yes, SIX) man team of the hite Sparkyz. Leta, like Sea, never really made it much far in individual leagues. As far as i remember, he reached Bacchus 2009 OSL Quarterfinals only to be toppled by fellow zerg teammate type-b. He one of the best (if not the best) wraith micro. He owned most zergs with two, or even three, ports. He has superb TvT that can be at par with Flash (they're 3:3 head-to-head). Only his TvP is questionable of all, only a bit above 50%. But that doesn't mean he can't win TvP, its just his worst match-up. He lead the sparkyz last year in proleague but choked during the playoffs by going 0-3 against CJ.
Many people in korea (i cant determine source but i read it somewhere here in tl) call him as the "S-Class test". Its because he almost fails everytime he faces S-Class players (he still haven't won one against Jaedong!) but consistently wins against non S-class players. But my question is, do you consider Leta as S-class?
Poll: Should Leta be S-Class?No (88) 57% Meh, between A to S-Class (43) 28% Yes (23) 15% 154 total votes Your vote: Should Leta be S-Class? (Vote): Yes (Vote): No (Vote): Meh, between A to S-Class
Sorry if OP's bad, I rarely post op's >.<

Why do you think his record is good? Compare to Jaedong/Flash. S-class players can't have crappy matchups and his vP is BARELY > 50%.
Though the principle of "S-Class" has been dead for a while now... Pretty much it's just Flash as God, Jaedong as legitimate challenger and everybody else = scrubs. Sure we see flashes of brilliance from the likes of a few players, but they don't have the roundedness or consistency not to get roflstomped on occasion.

voted yes cause i really love leta, im sorry ^_^

To be honest, if he needs to get farther in individual leagues in my opinion. He had his chances, but narrowly lost to Type-B and Luxury. He'd have to make a final or 2 semifinals in one season and/or improve his proleague performance even more. Then you have the people that will come in here and say he can't be S-class cuz of his gimmicky style. Honestly, he gets results so it doesnt matter in my opinion. Light and Sea have the same problem as him just not doing well in individual leagues no matter what.
So, imo in his prime he was in between A and S, but right now he is firmly A. If he gets the results in individual leagues he will move up imo. Then again this is all just my opinion.

If Leta is S-class Flash is GOD MODE class.

Too arbitrary, but no, he's not good enough. No one calls him S class because, like you say, he's never accomplished anything in individual leagues.

i really hate it when people call him gimmicky. i remember he played against pure in the OSL in heartbreak ridge and used ghosts, lockdown and nukes in a really drawn out game, and people call him gimmicky. hiya uses the same. ghosts and stuff and people call him entertaining. wtf?

there's "A-Class" and "B-Class" also i think Leta is "A-Class"
"S-Class" is like lee ssang taek bang (bisu not so much anymore though)

dude i'm his biggest fan and he's not close
he's solidly A but only Jaedong and Flash are S right now

this thread is like a year late leta used to be godly, now he's just another really good player.

S-Class is just an arbitrary classification for extremely good players. If you want to think Leta is S-Class, I don't see how anyone can argue with you, since there's no real definition for the term. All it really means is a really good player.

he's just extremely consistent in how good he is so when he runs into a stream of mediocre players he wrecks every one of them and it makes him look good because he's better than them and then he's about 50/50 with anyone in his skill range except jaedong whom he can't beat

An S-class player needs to be able to prove his ability in all settings. A player like Leta who has never won a televised Bo5 cannot be considered S-class.

lol, i think s-class test is the perfect designation for him

so true but watching Leta beating someone better makes me so happy, hoping he improves so much that he can be one of the best terrans ever
he made top3 terran in kespa before and top 1 in PR (not so sure about this though).

what do people consider s class, because if letas s class then there's 15 of them

I always mention this in every thread concerning Leta, but I will say it again. Leta is, for all intents and purposes, the successor to Sea[Shield]. An excellent player who carries his team in Proleague, but that will most likely never achieve much in the individual leagues.
So he is just like Sea[Shield]....better then his A-level peers, but never quite good enough to make it to S-class. So even if he does ocassionally have a streak of wins, I doubt this will ever change.

leta isn't s-class now but he was before for awhile.

Between A and S- Class I'd say.
