I love trashy reality TV and I was a little surprised that this wasn't a total disaster. Its not mind blowing but its pretty entertaining for what it is (my one experience in a large corporation involved dudes at a desk with no knowledge of our process making decisions that made my job tougher so its kind of fun to see it happen here too).

That's the deception in the show though. To people who take tv as completely on the level at all times they think "yeah these fucking guys are getting their feet put to the fire!! YEE HAW!" but to people who know better it's just another example of a subliminal way to make working class people feel like they are kicking a little ass when they are really being distracted while another guy steals their wallet and proceeds to knock them out cold.

Ok, while that may be the case, the fact of the matter is that the show is inspiring because of the ppl working there, the things they say and their mentality in their jobs. There is also one REALLY disgusting person on the show, one of the employees, who's actually a manager. I mean he is one piece of shit, so it tends to make me think the show is a little more honest than it could be. Although, at the same time, he is so revolting and so much of a dickhead you almost can't believe it's not an actor.
And by the way, the enjoyment of this show is for me nothing to do with 'putting their feet in the fire'. Though it is quite funny that several times the CEOs don't even get the job done and their supervisor is like 'this guy is junk' etc.

i actually watched ep 4 (white castle) after reading this
I watched the episode with the mind set that its all fake / staged whatever to show a good image for the company - regardless I was still touched by the employees and I really truely believe that there are people like them out there.

Episode 2 was pretty funny:
+ Show Spoiler +First girl that finishes her beans gets to go home
Honestly this whole series seems like advertising for the companies, but it is fun to watch. Its like a slower, less disgusting version of Dirty Jobs.
