Wow, simply amazing. I don't want to spoil anything by words, just watch it. It starts at about 1:30. So many artists, all of them are so good. Not to mention an amazing scheme to get people to donate.
Good cause, I think I'll shell a few bucks out of my already-tight university student budget.

Is it wrong to appreciate something of this magnitude? Surely you don't think I expect everyone to like, or even enjoy this track. No, instead I expect a certain amount of respect; because even if you do not find the song to be enjoyable, it is a collaboration for a good cause, with great vocals, and a great deal of planning - something worth appreciation.
In fact, I believe that the absurdity of this argument lies not in my opinion or respect towards these artists, but in the necessity for me to defend it. You argue that blogs are becoming more thoughtless, and brains are rotting, and this is true, but you are unfortunately on the receiving end.
Its no surprise that there is no more motive for metaphor, anything which is taking out of the immediately useful is cast aside. American Beauty is no longer taken to be a social commentary masterpiece, but a convoluted and seemingly useless tale in the publics eye. Shakespeare which was regarded as poetic and fluid became difficult, and now moronic. Music which used to be about spreading a message and rallying support is now a popularity contest and the winners are chosen by who can crank that tik tok.
Indeed society has turned off their minds, movies are about cheap thrills and hip hop is dead. Books are littered with thirteen-year-old vampire fantasy and this has sadly become the norm. The days of Northrop Frye and Chomsky are buried, and not an eye bats. Of course, that is until someone brings about this topic. It is as similar to the impersonator who straightens his posture and watches how he articulates after he has realized my qualification. It is as similar to the person who, blinded by what he thinks qualifies as food for thought deceives him and instead leads him to think the total opposite, as shown in this thread.
So tell me, how thoughtless is this blog? Is thoughtless the right word, or is it just a cover-up because offering some vestige from the norm and into reality is scary? Or are you really as naive to think that you are past any "manipulation" this video intends release, and your firm analysis has concluded that anyone who appreciates such a sort of thing is uneducated and easily swayed by celebrity influence.
