i'll periodically post new sandwiches
Whopper Junior Ingredients: Sesame seed bun ground beef tomatoes onions mayo ketchup pickles lettuce
steps: 1.first put meat patty onto bottom bun, and then put that into the microwave for 5 seconds. NOTE: flame broil the meat first. 2.while it's in the micro wave start the top bun by putting condiments on in this order: mayo, lettuce, tomato (1 for small burger, 2 for large). 3. once the bottom is done put condiments on in this order: ketchup, onions, pickles(2 for small burger, 4 for large). 4. put two halves together and enjoy
this is the exact way to do it at BK.

seriously? 5 seconds, seriously?
Seriously?!
|
yes only 5 seconds, also be sure to not microwave the mayo as you can potentially die

If you're going to take the time to make something yourself, why would you ever degrade the experience by doing it like a crappy fast food restaurant?
I mean, I guess it's a joke since the patty is going to be raw if you don't cook it longer, but I don't understand why it's funny. Unless you're using precooked meat, which is even weirder. Or do you cook it and then put it on the bun, then microwave them together for reasons that are difficult to understand?
It's like some kind of incredibly inconvenient, disgusting hamburger.

How to make BK burgers:
step one: Get a bun step two: Shit in said bun step three: add ketchup/salad if wanted
Seriously tho I hate BK burgers why would you wanna make it?

I like medium rare to medium-ish burgers. I dunno, the idea of having a nice burger and then tossing it in the microwave sounds sacrilegious to me. Downright demonic evil.
Evil.

I worked in bk a few years ago in canada, here are some additional info:
If the burger is freshly grilled, microwave is not necessary. Only microwave if the patty has sat in those warm containers for a while. Both top and bottom buns go through a one-way toaster.
Regular whopper is 8 seconds, junior whopper/hamburger/cheeseburger is 5 secs. Double stacker is 8 secs, triple is 11, quad is 14 (I don't actually remember the exact numbers, because there was a button to press for the auto-time).
Hamburger, cheeseburger, junior whopper, king supreme all use same patty and bun.
For regular whopper: 2 tomatoes, 3 onion (rings) and 4 pickels in training video. +2 slice of cheddar cheese if cheesewhopper.

@Chef sorry, i edited my post say yes you must flame broil, or at least cook meat first. microwaving it ensures not only more taste and a warm burger, but the satisfaction of eating greasy bread. i can pound out 10 of these puppies in a couple minutes. . i'm not sure what is inconvenient or disgusting. .
@Johnranger-123 i know a lot of people don't like fast food, but some people do; i think like 80% of people who say they don't like it are lying.

@Ryshi thanks dude, respect. i'm going to add the amount of each to the original post since you reminded me.

Just so you know there is a quote button. And I'm not saying I don't like fast food, I love KFC, which is prob one of the most greasiest places in the world. I just hate burger king in all honesty

Where are you located? In northeast region, Stuff goes on in this order:
Mayo Lettuce Tomato Pickles Ketchup Onions
At least that's how it was done from 1997-2004 when I worked there. This was back before the meat was kept in the "duke" pans, which keeps them good for 60 minutes. We ran burgers through the broiler, put them on the bun, and kept the burger and bun in a steaming unit, for up to 10 minutes.
I would be manager at BK now if I didn't have an interest in computer science. It was a fun place to work.

well i'm doing the infamous angry whopper next so hopefully that'll shake some negativity off

I simply don't understand. It doesn't compute. I've eaten at a 5 star restaurant where the bill was more than 100 pph excluding drinks and I still prefer a bacon dbl cheeseburger to the top quality steak I had there. For me, BK is possibly the greatest food experience a human can have, except for giant tortoise.
