[H] UMS victory trigger question

Hey guys. Taking my 1st shot at an UMS map for the first time in a few years (like 8 LOL). I've put a few hours into it and I'm wrapping up most initial level parts, and right now I'm at the part where I want to put in the ending trigger. It's a single-player map (I know lame right?) and I want the game to end when the player has mined out all minerals on the map. The player is spending the money as he makes it so I can't just say "once player accumulates X resources end game in victory". I tried messing around with setting a scoreboard and the player gets a point for each mineral he mines (minerals are the only resource btw), in an effort to count pure amount mined and not spent, and then I could just say when player reaches X score end game in victory. I put that in but the scoreboard doesnt even show. This is probably because I've forgotten so many trigger properties that it's just in wrong.

Anyway, is that a good method of going about it, or is there an easier way? Thanks.

That sounds a little bit hard. Perhaps you can count the amount of mineral the player mines.

Minerals count as units, right? It's been ten years since I did the editor goodness, but as far as I can recall, you should be able to make a few Regions in your mineral field, then add a trigger to end game - victory when the Region contains no units.

I haven't mapped in a long time but here's what i remember

P12 owns the neutral resources, so you can try a
command(p12, 0, mineral field type1);
command(p12, 0, mineral field type 2);
command(p12, 0, mineral field type3);

Of course you'd need SCMDraft or Starforge for these triggers (those are starforge syntax triggers btw)

I just checked StarEdit, and it really sucks that the Score condition doesn't count resources mined, but that they're still willing to display a Resources score.

I think with SCMDraft you can create a trigger that says when Resources Score = X, then victory, where X is the total amount of resources on the map.

Otherwise, you might want to consider a P12 commands at most 0 unit at location kind of thing.
