I'm just hoping that he gets manslaughter or accidental murder or something because he's a really nice guy, he's extremely smart, and he's normally the last person you think would do something like this. It would be a shame for him to spend twenty plus years in jail and have his life thrown away. Imagine one of the nice, softspoken, tolerant goofballs in your school who gets straight A's. He helps you out when you need it, and always jokes around outside of class (aka not a class clown). Alan was that guy . He was absolutely nothing like the antisocial virginia tech guy. : //// I know a similar situation from experience : / A fucked up mother-son relationship, fortunately noone was killed . When an exceptionally smart guy gets to have a parent who is a strict-cotrol freak ( btw especially often case in asian culture ) or has other similarly bad behavior patterns - it might turn into a MAD, DEEP , LIFE-TIME LONG HATRED that might just explode in some cases and cause things like this. From outside - you wouldn`t tell a thing, the guy is a very respected and liked person by nearly everyone - he`s very smart and always willful to help as well as hang around , joke and overally making a very good atmoshpere around him. Also mad good at chess as well as insane grades. He was also around C+ at sc but never was too much into that. Then you get to know how fucked up relationship with his mother he has. Or rather no relationship. He won`t even touch anything she ever touched, won`t ever talk to her , he just inists on no contact at all. He says that she is totally disguisting and he wouldn`t stand anymore having contact with such toxicated, ignorant , apodictic person, even if it is his mother. States that she has totally retarded, simply stupid views about parent-child and life in general ....and to that she`s so apodictic that its not possible to explain her that. He often sleeps on lessons and skips a lot of classes as well as does some weird things like not taking the coat when its freezing cold winter etc . Though I really don`t see a fucking problem there - he has literally the best grades in school and he is ridicilously smart so he wouldn`t do that if it was bad. Problem is that when he doesn`t agree with these retarded views and acts on his own - which he does all the time - she often tries to intervene . Claims that he doesn`t hate her or anything , just that when someone is trapped in a swamp - you don`t jump into swamp as well. You can imagine how fucked up situation it has to be : / Again, noone outside would ever know if he didn`t tell . I guess it is because he is very good at controling his emotions / behaviors . Still I think he might really hate his mother deep inside and just never show it to anyone , her included. There is the threat - if it is stored it might explode . So out of nowhere a calm, nice , benevolent , helpful, intelligent person does some terrible things, shocking everyone like Alan : / From this perspective - I wouldn`t ever blame someone like Alan. Never. It is soooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking sad ..................... : / Really I would like to help someone like Alan in all means possible because it is such an injustice to punish him for what happened and people like him really aren`t at fault. Even if they claim they are - its more out of the shock they get after such tradegy I don`t even know how to express that. Not that the parent is now an object of hate and blame ............. its just a really really sad and unfortunate turn out of events .... S O H O W THE FUCK can you punish them for what happened ? This is fucking justice ? It`s like a good , sober driver who accitentaly happens to bump into someone who runes right under the wheels on the red light. DO YOU FUCKING PUNISH THE DRIVER FOR THAT ?

So sad when you realize that they could just get a bike or a car and run through the same life with grace and ease . To get a bike is to realize what the reality is because it is so often the case that we mistake our assumptions for reality and when that happens - you aren`t able to navigate the course of your life - the more you mistake reality with assumptions the less ability to see whats what and to help yourself and others. How many times did you hold a belief and at some point came to realize that it was not true ? Lets say you thought that you thought that you have to walk 4 miles to school, then you learn someday that the bus could drive you 300 meters near the school but you didn`t realize that this place is so close to school. You didn`t find the proof that its impossible to get to school reasonably well - in fact you didn`t check well enough and made an assumption instead which failed you badly. It isn`t different with any other assumptions. Other than that the consequences might be much bigger. It is because social order fails - and fails on purpose - to learn you to establish a belief system based on actual facts - and not on assumptions. Nearly everything you believe in can be assumption and most of them aren`t true - by that I mean that they are not complete. They might reflect as true ones in some part of your life but they will fail you in other parts. Its making the logical flaw - and this is what u are sublty teached to do nearly everywhere - it is like assuming that mass hydra does suck against protoss which 99 % of the people did for years - when in reality it can both suck and be awesome . This is a difference between zergs on their kneels , crying about imba Bisu and the zergs who own the scene. Whether you are a sheep who follows or the 1 % who realizes that what is possible is a lot more than 99 % ever imagined - is up to you. Its a choice.
