Does anyone remember the good old days of warcraft? Before there was a world which could populate a continent, and a Billion different races and classes, and a monthly fee. Yeah These guys miss it, and decided to bring back classic warcraft 2 for free on their private server. The best part is ITS FREE Something to definitely play when your bored or tomorrow on Christmas you can set up a quick LAN to play. The free download does not include the single player game. But the whole multi-player system is attached and works great! It all runs of a private battle.net server and there are actually quite a bit of players. So download it if your feeling nostalgic and don’t mind revisiting Lordareon before the undead and night elf show up.

Also you can be kicked off the server for hosting Custom maps like Paintball and Free Castles etc. which do not have resource management. We will give you a warning about it and if you fail to quit hosting those maps you will be off of the server. Remember just because a Staff member is not logged on dosnt mean we cannot check the game reports to find what you have hosted.
ICCup doesn't do this, why do you do it.

Be here for the tournament today :D you will see we have alot more users then that , right now is bad hours as most of our players are from US and are asleep right now

Also to the other poster, we do allow custom maps on the server now since the tvsb ladder has been disabled, we are working on a new built in igl type ladder right now.

my main problem with warcraft 2 is the obnoxious UI. no rally points, no build queu, only 9 unit max selection, and terrible pathing. also blood lust was so ridiculously powerful, it was basically quad damage and double move speed.

Well most of your complaints are only due to the possible implementations at the time. War2 is a very old game. Your last reason is valid though.
edit: Most games I've seen are Orc vs Orc and it usually mounts to an ogre blood lust fest.
