Just wanted to share this with you guys.
Some of you might enjoy reading philosophy as i do. Im not giving the name to avoid any prejudice.

He developed a sort of chain of philosophy with and responsibilities for humanity to live by. He expressed that every individuals first responsibility to, not only their self, but to humanity as well, was to realize they exist and define themselves as who they are and how they will be. From there he believed that everyone is free to make choices, and everyone is responsible for realizing that every choice made not only affects their future but humanities as well. Once those choices are made, he felt it is every individual's responsibility to get what they want, and not sit and wait for it to happen.

He felt that humanity relied too much on God in all these aspects of life, and he felt God was too unreliable. People needed to be shown that every individual is responsible for every aspect of theirs and humanities future. People can only rely on themselves. People must realize that they exist without the help of God and learn to define themselves as human before anything else.

These conscious decisions begin to take place after making oneself who they are. God does not give, and then make the choices for everyone; every individual is responsible for their decisions. As he says, "Man is the future of man. Many people feel that things just do not happen because it was not in Gods pre-meditated destiny. " By having to choose between things it gives value to the different options. Nor can I be sure that comrades-in-arms will take up my work after my death and carry it to the maximum perfection, seeing that those men are free agents and will freely decided, tomorrow, what man is to be. There is no pre-meditated destiny for every individual and humanity, humans create destiny through every choice that they make. For the people being depended on are free people and can go against another's wishes any time they please.

In the beginning he was nothing, and he will not be anything until later. In Zola's stories a coward is a coward because it was born that way, this idea is most liked by the general public. In this case the knifes essence came before its existence. The value of the instinct or feeling that is pushing a person towards one choice rather then the other, is judged by whether they choose that direction or not, and carry out that choice. Every individual must realize that they are responsible for everything they do, and that every choice and value made affects humanities future. From the moment that people are thrown into this world they are responsible for everything they do. As said before choices are only deemed valuable if it is followed by an action.

Did you write that, or is that an excerpt from Sartre (I've never read any of him)?

That's definitly not Sartre writting.

Some mixture of "L'existentialisme est un Humanisme" with very odd references to God (Sartre was completely atheist, and all his thinking is organized with the idea that God doesn't exist anyway and that it should be admitted), and none to his principal concern, social emancipation (Sartre was very Communist, and extremely engaged in Politics, and on the Proletarian struggles).

Why Zola's consanguinity reference? Have you read Zola? It's a bit more complicated than that. Didn't get it.

Sounds like you almost managed to make Sartre sound like Rockefeller. "I believe in the individual".
The fellow who is out to burn things up is the counterpart of the fool who thinks he can save the world. The world needs neither to be burned up nor to be saved. The world is, we are. Transients, if we buck it; here to stay if we accept it. ~H.Miller
