Try it. Also, nice review friend. Hmm..... I suggest you take a look at Wild Arms, another under appreciated gem for the PSX. I am half way through the game and I STILL don't know what the hell is going on. Please correct me if I am wrong but silent hill is a cursed place because of a girl who got baked (like in the movie) is that correct? What is with the siren and all the paint peeling off the walls and Pyramid head? And why the hell is there endless nurses with giant hooters and weird looking monsters? where do they come from? RE has always had clear story, you know you are fighting zombies that were originally human who were infected, but wtf are those nurses? where do they come from? and wtf are those smoke puffing things? are they suppose to be originally human and some how died and made into monsters? are they suppose to represent something? Your first assumption is correct... Kinda. Just exactly WHY all the crazy stuff happens in the town isn't ever definitively explained. However most of the things in the town tend to reflect the person who goes there. In the case of SH1 they're reflecting the "girl who got baked". Part of what makes SH1 such a fun experience is the mystery you're experiencing. The desire to know "why" has created fans out of many a player. My advice to you is to just enjoy the ride and beat the game. Then if you have questions ask em. | ||
