I recently got warned for posting on this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=208855
It is a person's guide to a build he invented. He wrote in the OP that it is a variation of the 4-gate, except that it incorporates DTs into the army. In other words, this build he made isn't a straight out DT rush. As the Dark Templar is my favorite Protoss ground unit, I posted this on his thread:
The Dark Templar is my favorite Protoss ground unit. Thank you so much for making a strategic build using DTs that doesn't involve DT rushing! I can't wait to try out this build.
I soon got a warning from a TL bot which said:
Don't be stupid. It's a DT rush.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation,
The Mod Staff

What shocked me even more was when someone else posted on the thread defending what I said. He got warned too. This is what he posted.

*facepalm* This is a dt rush...

It's 8 mins mark, get over it.
If he want to 4 gates like PvP, it just take 6 mins.

I am not complaining because of my warning. I am not asking for my record to be cleared. I am just politely asking what I did wrong.
The other poster and I were simply stating our opinion on the style of the strategy the OP posted. I don't understand why we can't voice our opinions on something, especially when we didn't violate any of the Ten Commandments (I think).
I'm aware of the fact that this thread was closed because the build itself wasn't good enough. However, I believe that fact is irrelevant to what I'm saying.
If a mod (or any other person, I guess) could at the very least explain what I did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it!
Also, I am not sure if I'm posting this on the right forum. If I didn't, please move this to it's appropriate place, without punishing me ;-).
Thanks.
