Hello Guys.
My name is Boyan from Bulgaria.
1st i wanna define what i mean by Strategist - a gamer or a practitioner of a particular discipline who is learning from his own life experience and adapting other points of view or techniques to enhance his performance and well being. You can say a seeker of knowledge even.
The other type of person is the autopilot who is raging and playing mindlessly without being in the flow. Here i have to say that you can play mindlessly - intuitively when you are in the flow, but when you`re not in sync you`re not gaining from the mindless training.
For the past 12 years i playing games and training. Currently i own a sports club and I practice various arts like family, yoga, chi gong, parkour, wing chun, grappling. Gaming and general self improvement are my passion.
One question i got from some of my young students(16 years +) who play sc2/wow/lol/whatever overall gaming addicts was this:
What should i do in order to be able to play more??? Same applies for working on the PC and overall huge brain activity.
At 1st i was like, why do you wanna play so much? About 4hours of game time are enough to get the glands in the brain to provide hormones and not exploit the body. The brain has few energy sources 1 is the neurokinetic energy that people use to solve puzzles, after that is depleted the brain starts to draw strength from the body in order to maintain and function in an RTS game. Lack of breathing also slows the brain activity and obstructs the conscious decision making process.
Gathering all the information and developing a set of moves/herbs/ to improve recovery time from excessive gaming is a necessity for the modern strategist. Improving performance and well being is something to think about in the long run.
People are good at a handful of things and they suck at most. I`m good at adopting different strategies for different people to improve health and well being. But i totally suck at marketing and a lot of other stuff. That`s why i come here to discuss and get suggestions and different points of view.
If you are interested in participating in the Project please comment and mention your common discomfort while you abuse the PC. Suggestions in what format we can make the training are also appreciated. We can try something like a book format or streaming. Let me know if you`re interested in streaming and training from a distance.
I can give examples with myself while i stay more than 4hours on the PC my eyes are like traffic lights i forget to blink and they dry out, my neck hurts and i kinda bend so bad and my spine suffers, that`s why i get a break every 2 hours to do some movement so i can be able to do whatever i wanna do on the PC without any permanent damage on the body.
I am interested in doing this because i believe that the smarter and the better prepared person will win and enjoy life to its full.

What? What is this project? You never said....

Not a bad read. To be completely honest, however, I don't quite see what you're trying to pull off here. If you want to make some sort of "study group", shouldn't you mention like... Your age? Your experiences with the game? How frequent should this activity be = How much time you're willing to invest and why? How many people should be involved? Is this supposed to be a paid service? Why should people join this project instead of paying for lectures by professional players?
As you said you're not very good at marketing and I think it shows here. Even though this is just a proposal thread to discuss your idea, it's hard to even get a grasp on the idea as such. Basically what you're saying is that you own a sports club where you help people with their approach to work on their skills effectively. And you want to provide this help to people here as well?
I'm afraid that the majority of people here are in fact trying and finding their own ways, while the others won't be interested. If you want to lead such a project I would expect you to be an SC veteran well known in the community or that you would provide us with some links or material on you, since otherwise people have no idea who you are and they have no good reason to believe that you can help them.
Also please consider using the capital "I" as English commands. It's rather annoying to read if you're used to the norm, which is kind standard around here. Thanks Good luck with the project.

Sounds like exercise/herbs/diet geared towards helping gamers be able to play better and longer.

It sounds like he wants to watch people play and tell them how much smarter he is than them with a very smug smile on.

Is this blog for real? Neurokinetic energy? Herbs for gaming?
GTFO lol

Goal - combine techniques from the eastern arts to enhance gaming abilities. Will give you my point of view with different words so you can get the essence out of it.
I am not going to give advice about sc2 and how to play because a lot of people do that better than me and I have a business I don`t want to steal theirs
People should do what they`re good at. I`m good at training people. The idea is to work on the game outside of the game. To have a quality organism which is conditioned to withstand extreme PC exposure. Cold hands, stiffness, the bone factor where you fingers are thin as skeleton etc.
You see I`m a family man with 2 kids. People can form their own opinion. Things like age are easy - 28 and I have more than 12 years of experience in the eastern arts and exposure to the gaming scene. Have 20+ students from all ages from 14, 15 year old kids who want to jump around the city to 50 + year old bankers and lawyers who want to fight the everyday stress.
But telling who I am ... besides the raw facts which is still in my opinion not a good strategy. Imagine I tell people I`m this and that and in reality something else emerges ? What will this be ?
Not very common to say this food tastes good before even trying it ye? This experience will be like a meal that looks very tasty but you will only understand and experience it for yourself when you try it.
I can invest 2 hours per week. Depending on how many people wanna give it a go and their social choreography, things will be done in the most convenient time for all with possible tolerance.
Not going to be a paid event unless someone finds the things he/she learns useful and decides to show his gratitude.
Otherwise I`ll share the knowledge free of charge because I will depend on the community to make it happen - consider it a contribution. The option where you lose 2 hours of your week which is nothing compared to the opportunity to explore your body and mind and the way they work for free. And taking care of yourself is a sure sign of self respect and quality. I`d rather work with people that respect themselves and want to improve. All others please don`t post here, have some respect for your time.
What I gain you will say? People always look what the other guy can gain instead of what they can gain. I gain the opportunity to solve a puzzle and gain experience doing it. Personal growth is important for me and the way to grow is to serve others. There is a possibility of some kind of evolution if you`re a selfish prick who only leeches others or puts them in certain categories so he can feel better. But feeling better is not enough, action is required to earn the satisfaction achievement. Satisfaction that you did something for yourself not for others.
Again repeating myself but hopefully this time the idea is a bit clearer.
Ideal goal is to make a training program for people who spend extensive periods of time in front of the PC and help them endure and recover. more, fast and efficient without sustaining injury or weakness.
Thank you.

3 to 5 minutes per position, depending on you.
1st position is this - Tadaasana.
Strategy is to imagine that someone is pulling your head up, this will stretch the spine but only if the hands touch the legs gently on the side from the length of your own arms. Don`t be scared to close your eyes, you will not fall, and put the tip of the toung on the roof of the mouth but don`t put it very close to the teeth because this will put additional nervous pressure, don`t put it too far back to reach the soft tissue, keep it in the middle!
2nd is the same position but you cross the fingers of the palms, raising them under the chin and resting the chin on the hands. The idea is to take all the weight from the neck on the hands. Absolutely no pressure on muscle tension on the neck.
Keep the toung touching and don`t hold the breath, keep conscious breathing throughout the entire process through the nose.
3rd - Neck rotations 2, 3 times on 1 direction then change without any strong stretching. Do that for a minute minute and a half and after the rotations do some YES YES, NO NO movement.
Movement should be done with control instead of just doing and thinking on the move makes the actual process more beneficial. If you do without thinking you gain 2 to 7% of the benefits compared to using the 3 different aspects - physical, breathing and mind. Combining those makes the move psychophysical which is optimal as a training strategy. Using the combination of the body mind and breath works for all types of moves. Principle is the same no matter what moves you do. Sync between breathing and physical movement is one the best things a person can do for himself.
Ok number 4. This will be easy - from the toes go to the heals and again for 3 to 5 minutes, don`t bend the knees. The idea is to gently spread the pressure to the whole body. When you workout the upper body you have to do something for the lower as well, this principle is the same in allmost every type of workout, no matter what moves you do, allways try to spread the pressure equally.
Good luck
