About: 1.3.3 patch update, Global Battle.net account unification (Just putting all account data together NOT CROSS REALM)
havent seen that before. isnt that pretty much the only step required to actually make a gateway selection/cross realm finally possible?
What does account unification even mean?
Instead of having account information for EU on a server in EU, it will now also/only be on the NA (or where they choose to put it) server. So instead of 6-7+ different account databases they will have one collected database.

WIth the change of protoss that might help inca. Nestea wont be ready for the new timing and army compositon :S

well they could access other regions bnet account info before. like i could log into NA bnet site and see my eu games and data there.
but one of the reasons against crossrealm/gateway selection was the new bnet model which seperated the databases. after the unification it should be possible for them to just swap a 0 for a 1 and make access to other servers possible. ofc correct me if im wrong but thats how i understand it.
also what other reasons could they have to change that?
ofcourse it wont come this patch or even that soon. but so far sounds to me like its worth getting the hopes up a bit ~ tho i still expect them to sell it as a awesome new feature for 10$ or whatever...

if Nestea has no problem holding right now (and he doesnt have any issues, no decent zerg should).. then 40 added seconds to warpgate research time should REALLY help zerg.

still the fact remains.. warpgate research time was INCREASED.. I cant believe theres people trying to spin this as a buff to protoss.. how does that make sense?

He probably won't.
But the warpgate research time change alone will change every single build inca has been practicing. Even if it's not by much, every little thing matters at that level.
20 seconds + Chrono boost = 13,3 seconds.
That's still 1 less chrono on probes or units. Early game chronoboosts have a very large effect on economy.
I'd be more concerned about the TSL finals though.

Chronoboost removes 10 seconds. Either way, you can't really say something like this, if a protoss wants to get out warpgate at the same fast timing they used to do (used 2 chronos on it) now they have to use 4 chronos on it to get it out the same time. Obviously a pretty big change.

Zealot/stalker was revoked, and warptime was changed to 20s. So now it's just 20s longer warpgate, and -5s sentry buildtime from gateways.
It's not a big deal really. If Inca has a sick archon build planned that could be a big deal, other than that I can't see it mattering.

Chrono boost increases production speed by 50 % and not decreases the production time by 50 %.
If speed is increased by 50 %, then 20 seconds => 13,3 seconds. If time is decreased by 50 %, then 20 seconds => 10 seconds.
And the first one is the case, so 20 sec + Chrono boost => 13,3 seconds.

Agree, it's a nerf to protoss, but not as bad as losing 20 (or 13,3) seconds. That time is enough to train a half unit, so the loss is about a half unit per gateway, and at that time you have 2 or 3 gateways producing which is overall 1 unit.
