His strats, decision making and execution were unbelievable, especially in games 1 & 4. About game 3, can't really blame Nestea for losing because Crossfire seems really Protoss favored but all in all he showed some really entertaining stuff. That made me quite optimistic about Zerg's future Actually, if you watch game 3 closely, despite Nestea's first push failing, he kept on attacking. He overcommitted and kept attacking with a smaller army into a bigger army. He did that 3 times and that's what made him lose, it had nothing to do with the map. The map is only PvZ favored when Protoss FFs or uses Colo on the narrow passages. And I'm not sure how people are saying anypro cut corners.. Game 1, he built 2 cannons which is pretty standard. Game 4, he built 3 cannons. Game 2, he definitely could've built a cannon or two but he went 3gate FE, which is definitely a safe build that doesn't cut corners. I think Nestea's builds were just so good and it made it look like anypro cut corners.

I looked at the interview by NesTea after the game and he gives us a hint about why he was pushing so hard on that 3rd game. He states the zerg needs "momentum" to win a game. he was trying to build that momentum into his favor but could not connect on that game. he probably realizes he cant just stop aggression and try to play it out.

Games 2 and 4 though, in game 2 anypro saw that nestea hadn't taken a third and he didn't make any cannons to prepare for the likely all-in. Game 4 is the worst though, he goes double stargate with lots of phoenixes and doesn't scout 2 of Nestea's proxy bases. Right after Nestea's corruptors killed all the voids and phoenix and before Nestea attacks anypro at all anypro has 2500 minerals. That's absolutely inexcusable and completely ridiculous for code s or gsl in general. I just can't see any defense or excuse for that. Maybe Nestea psyched him out but hes coming off winning game 3 so that argument fails, just awful play in that last game. As far as game 3 goes, Nestea misread what anypro was doing (he though there was only one stargate) and he did an all-inish attack that happened to be weak to what anypro was doing. It may have been motivated by his perception of a drawn out game with protoss on that map, or the fact that he wanted to seize the win. Obviously it didn't work out but it's not a mistake on the level of some of anypro's mistakes in the series.

I'm not going to keep buying GSL passes just because each of them is "a month of entertainment". I bought NASL too. I guess that's like 3 months of entertainment? So with three GSL's in three months, and the NASL, you can now buy 6 months of entertainment, but to keep up, you have to consume it somehow in 3 months. The city library can offer me YEARS of FREE entertainment, a deal that is, by your reckoning, infinitely better than yours. There is a saturation point, you see. If I leapt on every deal that offered me less than a third of a cent per day of entertainment, I would not be able to move for entertainment. Sounds like the issue has absolutely nothing to do with the price or quality and everything to do with your lack of free time. Nada vs Nestea finals is looking quite likely! Would be hilarious if it ended up being Inca vs sCfOu. Not necessarily bad, just hilarious.

Oh god, that would be amusing, though it would destroy my already-terrible liquibet percentage. ROFL. I'd been hoping for a Fruitdealer vs. Nada final since the beginning myself. It would've been hilarious to see those two play again knowing that FD was the one who infested terran'd Nada on Arkanoid. (I recently watched a replay of it and ... lol, Nada's face. Just lol.)

Seeing his lair finish when he wasn't even mining gas was probably as confused as I've ever been watching sc2 but clearly Nestea is from another planet.

I really hope Nada beats Inca... I think it would be strange to see Inca up there... but I have to say I'm surprised by the semi finalists. Nestea being up there isn't much of a surprise, and sC and Nada aren't the biggest surprise either... but I personally wouldn't pick them to be in the semifinals... and I really didn't expect Inca. Edit: One thing to add... I remember TLO did a spine crawler rush (he actually had the spines at his base and ran them across the map on overlord creep) but it never picked up against fast expand. It honestly is surprising and while this strategy may not even get popular, or may simply not be the answer to much of ZvP... it just goes to show that there is still a lot to experiment with.

Where can i watch vod if i dont have a tourneypass on gomtv? Well, you can find Chinese streams of the games. But, uh, yeah, I'd recommend just buying the pass. The Chinese streams aren't as good anyways, even if you understand the language.
