Lemonwalrus was just temp banned for 2 days by R1CH. That account was created on 2006-08-24 00:23:09 and had 4275 posts. Reason: I have my reasons. Whoa, that seems pretty big. Anyone have any ideas? Can't seem to find anything. I figured a veteran like Lemonwalrus would get more than just the stock reason.

LDLC.com was just banned by Kennigit. That account was created on 2011-01-09 00:36:57 and had 3 posts. Reason: unacceptable user name LDLC.com is one of the best French team... It's like banning a "TeamLiquid" account on an esport site. I really don't get this one.

Looking at that website it looks like a webshop for bying computer parts, they also sponsor a team? Cant see anything about it on the website, but then again i used google translate to make sence of it ^^ Also the three posts made by the account do not seem to have anything to do with the team?

I'm a fanboy, but the only reason is because he is Z (I also play Z mostly) and he has passion when he plays, getting frustrated and angry is a part of life and losing. I do think he probably brings more negative than positive people here to TL, but I rather watch the funny pokes and posts from him and let the ban hammers clean the trash posters he brings in. He gets off on poking fun and shoving peoples faces in the dirt, but the comedic gold outweighs the bad atleast for me. Obviously though, this isn't my site so my opinion doesn't really matter. My question: Why give him the glory of being banned for a little nudge at Mani? About this thread overall: I am going page by page and I'm glad to see the banhammers are actually witty and funny when it comes to reasons and responses to bans. Thanks for giving me a ton of laughable content for this week.

Yes it is, they are the sole sponsor of the team, therefore the team is named after them.

We don't allow urls as user names. It's not like banning "teamliquid" as a user name, it's like banning "teamliquid.net" as a user name.

I would really like a mod to comment on that (the first post of fps, not Halfs' reply, eventhough that one wasn't really clever either) since I feal like a similar comment (i.e. ignorant and full of prejudice) on e.g. the USA would have at least resulted in a warning or am I just to sensitive on this topic?

Okay this might be a lie told to a stupid tourist BUT when i was wisiting Egypt the egyptian guide stated that the gouverment at one point had given poor people in Cairo sattelite dishes in order for them to have something to do at evenings instead of sex and thus decreasing the birth rates... Edit: Not saying this is the main reason or even a big reason, just pointing out that there might be a tiny grain of truth to lack of entertainement being a factor for high birth rates. This was just an anecdote regarding the subject...

Don't know about how much truth there is to this story (and it doesn't really matter) but do you seriously think people in third world/developing countries sit all day long on their couch getting bored and now fortunatly can watch tv all day long instead of having to have sex? So boredom is the big problem people are facing? That doesn't sound like too big of an issue...
