Everyone praises this mouse and for $10, I'll give it a try.
$24.99 @ Amazon - Click
Click here for the Rebate Form
I picked one up since I need a new mouse anyway. Hopefully, I'm allowed to post this. If not, forgive me Admins .
Edit - Looks like Amazon isn't showing the item on their page. Click on the link above and then click on the "42 New" so Amazon's listing is brought up. Then just click add to cart next to Amazon's listing.

Good stuff.
The problem with rebates is that they can prevent you from invoking the warranty, if anything goes wrong with your product. The UPC that you sent logitech to claim your rebate is needed for using the warranty and now you're screwed.
Has anyone with a logitech product had a problem with it and decided to use the logitech warranty? if so, did you need to give logitech the physical, original, real, UPC from the original box?
I searched for this over the internet but logitech official forums are quite vague on this.

I have no idea about the warranty stuff, but I've been using Logitech Mice for about 4 years now and I haven't had any problems. My 4 yr old notebook mouse still works perfectly. For $10 though, I'm not going to worry much about the warranty.

I've used their warranty service several times on previous generations of mice. They asked for the serial number, which I provided, and they promptly sent me a brand new mouse on more than one occasion. I didn't even have to send the broken mouse back. I was very impressed.

Scanned UPC + explanation of rebate works all the time.

I had to use my warranty as well for my mx518. I think the first model had a defective component since a lot of people were reporting theirs turning off randomly.
It was very simple. Gave them the serial and in 5 days i had it delivered without paying a dime in customs.

Nope. Still there. You can either click on the "45 new" link or look to the right and you'll see it for sale by Amazon for $24.99 and just click Add to Cart next to there. I'm assuming this is Amazon's way of trying to back out of one of their weekly deals without really backing out of it. Most people don't know how to get passed the 3rd party buyers.

Where do you see the top 2?
2. Purchases must be made between 11/28/2010 and 12/04/2010. Request must be postmarked by 01/03/2011.
That's straight from the rebate.
I just checked my order and it's shipping soon. I think I got in on this right before Amazon started saying they would arrive within 1-4 weeks. Either way, that's still enough time to send it out.
