Now to the point! Englsih live stream WILL be provided but I am still not sure whether HD live stream will also be available. I can only promise that I will do my best to keep you guys updated with latest news.
this is what everybody has been waiting to hear (now it's quoted, removing it isn't possible anymore )
I think people - including myself - will be perfectly happy that there is a livestream, even if it's not HD; but as somebody mentioned earlier, most people here (again including myself) are so obsessed with livestreams that they would rather watch a korean livestream than waiting for english VOD-uploads; keep up the great work, I really appreciate that you keep us in the loop!

Just one more thing.
I wanted to create new topic to post this, but it's been only 2 days since I joined and I can't do that.
For those of you who wish to enter GSL season 2, the entry will begin on 25th of September until 3rd of October.
I will anounce this agin when I am able to create new topic.

This is a very useful information. As it hasn't been long since we entered e-sports business and we have just begun to expand our markets beyond Korea or Japan, we are very interested in hearing what kind of service foreigners want. I will definately report this. Thank you for your feedback.

things that are going around through my mind at the moment:
1. it would be important to supply the vods on the same day they have been casted because of all the people around the world who are living in a different time zones, they could watch the games when they wake up/coming home from work. if there would be like two or three days between the match and the upload, for me it would be significantly less interesting because it's almost impossible to "avoid" the results of these games for such a long time
2. it would be really nice if the vod site could be as spoiler free as possible, same reasons as point 1
thank you for your great work for the foreigner community

This. And even actually reading and commentating on the feedback they get from the community. Always a sign of a good organisation.
Someone posted it earlier, but English commentary would be much appreciated rather than VoDs. Most of us will anyway watch the Korean stream instead if there is one and there won't be English commentary stream. But im fine with everything, though it would be awesome to hear Tasteless & Artosis commentating live. It's been a while.
Great work and Hope to hear more from you, Junkka!

Probably at RO64:
Schedule
8/10 ~ 8/22 - Registration 8/28 - Offline Preliminaries 9/4 - Opening match for Ro64 9/6 ~ 9/10 - Ro64 9/13 ~ 9/14 - Ro64 cont'd 9/15 ~ 9/16 - Ro32 9/17 - Ro16 day 1 9/20 - Ro16 day 2 9/21 ~ 9/23 - Korean Thanksgiving Break! 9/24 - Ro8 9/27 ~ 9/28 - Semifinals 10/2 - Finals
Ro64 and on will be broadcasted by GomTV. But not sure if it will be live or replay commentary, since Arrrtosis is still playing. Maybe he'll play and commentate the same time, he's a baller like that

I'm sorry that I haven't been very active, but we are really busy down here at GomTV. We have just finnished making brackets for RO64. I know many of you are very curious about it, but all I can say is that it will be confidential for now. As for the opening match, I mentioned before that there will be 16 players playing. It seems I was misinformed. There will be 4 selected players from RO64, which means there will be 2 matches(3 games per match, the best two wins). Well I guess another big question everyone has is "How the hell do we watch the games?!" We will upload them on http://www.gomtv.net. It is NOT in Korean and you do NOT need to pay. "What about commentaries?! Do we have to watch it listening to Korean jibberish?" Not to worry. Dan(Artosis) and Nick(Tasteless) are going to provide English commentaries. If by any chance some of you already live in Korea or are planning to come to Korea this week. The opening match will be held at KBS 88 Stadium at 7pm KST on 4th of September. It's free and all the players that participated in the preliminaries will be given VIP seats and presents. For further information do not hesitate to email me : junkka@gretech.com thanks for the clarifications sir, you said games will be uploaded, but will there be any way to watch live streams with the english commentaries at some point? I donn't know whether we plan to provide the streams live, but Nick and Dan will be casting on the spot using an English SC2 client to observe the games. Can you please find out more information about english live stream? I'm very happy to get games casted in english, and I am sure that people would be thrilled if the good people at GOM could give us a live stream of the english commentary. We have so many fanatics here on teamliquid that would be devastated to know that a match took place that only had live korean commentating and we have to wait several hours for a VOD of the same game with english commentary. So many nerd tears! Please if you can keep us posted . I am getting tons of requests asking about the live stream. Seriously guys, I have been working overtime including weekends and my birthday. You folks keep this up and I might as well as live at the office! lol, just kidding. Call me crazy but I actually find all this enthusiasm quite exciting. Now to the point! Englsih live stream WILL be provided but I am still not sure whether HD live stream will also be available. I can only promise that I will do my best to keep you guys updated with the latest news. Quality doesn't really matter as content counts more. Most of us will be fine with SD.
