It seems almost every map out there is out to get me. All the popular ones eat nubtosses like me alive... My wonderful 17-8 record went all the way to 18-15 because of those silly maps.
PvZ on destination is a wonderful medley of mutalisk rushes, 4 pools, speedling runbies (with or without back mineral patch) and even hydra breaks due to me overly defending versus the former.
PvT on othello is a head-grating assortment of tank drops, mass vulture runbies, and 5 fac pushes
PvT on heartbreak ridge might as well be me watching paint dry (so goddamn boring/hard to break into the terrans base). The difference being, after about the 25 minute mark, the paint decides to leave its wall and destroy you in one swift push. I end up having to either cheese myself (DT rush, in-base proxies) or attempt to get carrier tech.
And to add to the pain, maps like Andromeda and Medusa (god i love those maps) aren't very popular and thus tosses like me are left to rot

If you have trouble with D level PvT, you have macro problems.

Gay them back.
PvT 10/15 on Match Point. 12nex on Fighting Spirit 12nex on Destination 12nex on Othello 12nex on Most maps 10/15 on maps without ramps
PvP its gay. fuck this matchup. just play standard and make nice concaves.
PvZ 1base speedlots on maps with ramps. +1 zealot hanbang because its awesome. 4/5gate goon is even more awesome.

No, you're missing the point. HBR and Othello can't be won by just macrotossing to victory, that's what fighting spirit and python are there for. The problem is that, no matter how much you macro, you need to get some INSANE flanks (in the case of HBR) or you need to pretty much completely deny vulture pressure (Othello).
I do perfectly fine on Python :S its just these maps that give me trouble

Don't go 4/5 gate goon. It's mean.

PvT HBR: the new version of the map is much harder yes... I think lighter is right when he says you need stronger macro. Or.. maybe you should learn some good clever one base play, cheese is tyour friend and makes you win games
PvT Othello: if you have trouble dealing with the vulture harass, try to spread your obs through the map to see when the vultures are coming out of T's base, and try to deny them as best as possible. To help you, try to reduce the access to your natural by adding some pylons, and build some canons at your other expos.
PvT d level in general: shuttle unit is your friend, especially in early and mid game. It is very good against terrans, allows you to drop any ground unit you want in the terran's base (reaver, DTs, goon elevator, name it) and also stalls terran pushes like nothing (drop those 4 zeals in the tank line, newbcake!)
I hope it helps, and happy gaming

I can still win the games with my semi-good macro, it just feels like I am constantly about to lose (whether it be from the Terran having 4 bases to my 5 or killing 15 probes)

These are like by far the best motw ever. I don't understand how a toss can dislike these. But maybe im just biased because fighitng spirit and desti are my 2 favorties maps.

Oh, I love fighting spirit and destination too (for pvt at least) but pvz sucks harder than usual for D+ on these maps imo
