Before the times of The Maestro, Zerg cerebrates had no ruler, leader, nor god. The three kings ruled over the mighty Protoss. The Terran Bonjwas dominated the scene. The Zerg had their fair share of victories, thanks to their evolutionary traits, but never did one individual have the ability to lead them all to glory. Lesser leaders attempted to rise up and fill the gap, but never was there one single entity that could control and direct the Zerg to success. The swarm was suppressed; held back. Then, The Maestro, their Savior, arrived.
Overcoming any and all foes who dared to enter his path, The Maestro obliterated all competition. Destroying everyone he faced for an entire year, there was no question as to which race was on top. There was no question as to which man was on top of his race. Yet, the Protoss struck back, and the Revolutionist defeated the Savior of the Zerg.
The fall of The Maestro signalled a dark age in the swarm. Protoss executors learned the ways of fast expansion, crushing the swarm's opposition for over a year. Against the human race, the Zergs could not find any foothold to climb up from and they were defeated as thoroughly as they were before. Zergs fell left and right to both of the other races.
Then, came the era of Zerg dominance. In 2009, the Zergs learned to macro, and to match the play of their adversaries. Vaporizing any and every wall and obstacle put against them, the Zerg swarm destroyed all opposition and once again claimed their right at the top. 2009 was the year of the Hivemind, and they’re not done yet.
The Reincarnation
Effort
The Maestro, Reborn.
The fall of The Maestro dealt a hard blow to the Zerg race as a whole. However, in the end, it mattered not and as with any and all Zerg, he was soon reborn into the world as Kim Jung Woo. His abilities, rather than diminished, were reinvigorated. Even as his foes fall to his might, they cannot help but be amazed the ferocity of their adversary. The Maestro once fell within CJ Entus, and brought the land down with him. His rebirth restores their once lost status at the top. The Maestro's reincarnation, is to be feared.
King of Queens
Zero
Prince of Queens is not enough.
For much of the year, Kim Myung Woon was the supporting pillar of the land of Woongjin. Precise and perfect troop control baffling his enemies, and his solid and constant troop production letting him hold his own in each and every battle. In the period of little evolution within the Zerg swarm, he developed his own unique tactic to further the use of an underused yet deadly creature, eventually unleashing it upon the Revolutionist who initially felled the entire Zerg race. In a stunning victory, he defeated the one who the old Maestro could not, proving himself to the world that he was a deadly force.
Systematized Pandemonium
Calm
A new champion.
The success of Kim Yoon Hwan is mindboggling. Starting out as a relative unknown, he soon showed his mastery over all strategy and tactics, delivering devastating blows to each and every opponent he faced. His plans are set-up carefully and solutions to difficult situations are already predetermined in each and every stage of the battle. Kim Yoon Hwan, whether being assailed by Protoss assassins or Terran mercenaries, takes every enemy apart, piece by piece, and soon became the unwavering head of the STX ship.
And the greatest of all. The one who led them to salvation. The Sovereign. The God. The Tyrant.

Lee Jae Dong’s birth into the swarm occurred in early 2006. Until late 2007, he was hailed as a great young talent within the swarm, but his skill against Protoss foes was not up to par, and so was held as a lower class leader, until facing the famed Dinosaur.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Winning again and again, never faltering once. If a foe defeated him in one arena, he’d come back and obliterate him the next three times they met. Even after being beat down into the ground, he’d stand back up and fight to rule again. Despite being challenged and dethroned by the Terran's Ultimate Weapon, he shall rise up and conquer in the end. Thus, is the story of The Overmind. He is the Zerg, and will lead the swarm to victory in 2010. The Zerg are coming. The Zerg Swarm:
