VLC player help!

Before I upgraded my VLC, I was able to take snapshots without subtitles appearing in the snapshots. But now, the subtitles always appear!

Any way to remove this? I use mostly .mkv videos.

why don't you just turn off subtitles for the duration of your snapshot taking session?

It's too much of a hassle. Besides, the previous version allowed me to take subtitle-free snapshots while the video was still running with the subtitles (.mkv formats), so wondering if I can do the same with this version. Or else I might just have to downgrade.

It was probably something they upgraded into the new version...WYSIWYG snapshots. You'll probably have to downgrade to get it to work like before...unless there's a settings area that'll let you mess with it.

I checked the subtitles section but afaik there isn't any change. Oh man....
