We were waiting for all the members to reach the subway station, met up a few people at first, people like GenericTerranPlayer, Red_Storm (fucking awesome guy btw, maybe because he's called steve too), hypnoticpoo (met up with him early), Kaleidoscope, htennek_mil, dragoonkf. Rest started joining us later, and after waiting for 30 minutes (steve, idra and artosis, we still don't know why you were late

), we decided to head down to our planned lan shop

But fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, all the lan shops were full, and those that weren't didn't have starcraft. So many fucking skillless newbies that only play dota. Real men play starcraft!

So, long story cut short, we found another lan that had starcraft, sat down and started playing against each other.

I played against pangshai (this guy can be a progamer if he works on the strategic part, 300 apm, sick)(but he plays protoss) and GenericTerranPlayer and after a while, fakesteve, idra and artosis found us.

I knew this beforehand that they were coming but still, meeting them in real life was probably one of the best things that have happened to me.

Saw some Idra vs Artosis TvT, crazy game where we witnessed progamer playing first-hand (although because of different keyboard and mouse and stuff they were having a hard time, like continuously pressing F1 or having those sticky keys appear)

Played two games with steve, won a tvt and lost a tvp ("protoss is so gay" - fakesteve), then played another game versus pangshai before we all headed down for some chicken rice.

Half the people parted after dinner, rest headed down to the bar at Clarke Quay for some beer, talked lots of stuff about SC, SC2, TL, gg.net and other stuff.

I downed 2 cans of beer and 6 glasses of beer before I got home and I was like, "I think I'm on stim packs" and fell asleep

Oh, I took photos with everyone but my camera didn't have the memory card so nothing was saved, have to wait for GenericTerranPlayer to upload his photos

Everyone was great, really enjoyed the time spent, hope to do this more often. Fakesteve wore the mbc hoodie and the Kellogg's shirt (damn) and Artosis wore the (-_-' ) baller nerd shirt. Idra didn't wear his CJ shirt =(

I tell you what, some of the Singaporean SC nerds look pretty fucking good for nerds. dragoonkf and some of the others have muscles.

How can you even make photos without a memory card inserted .... ohwell, seems like you guys had a good time. Did you have to search long for a lan shop with starcraft and spots ?

I didn't check, the flash and everything worked so I assumed it was working (I borrowed the camera from a friend so...)

Searched like 30 minutes, thank goodness the area had many lan shops

he had a ton of minerals though

but below 400 gas all the time

a few good moments, like mine daebaks and shit lol

seemed he was rather uncomfortable with the keyboard and mouse though

yeah i know how it feels when you're so used to your keyboard and mouse at home and you play in pc rooms and its totally different and throws you off. If Idra was flash he would have brought his own keyboard and mouse and a ruler hehe.
