Before anyone thinks about it, no, I'm not going to get laid.
Moving on, I've been doing some heavy thinking today, thinking about what I've done in the last 18 years. Nothing special, I must say. But it's thinking back about my recent 2~3 years that've been slightly bothering me these past few weeks.
I always wanted to do something memorable, and often too. Maybe like once every year or two. These are a few I have in mind, which I plan to do at least once every two years from today onwards, as well as a few resolutions which I intend to keep.
- Go on a solo trip to Korea, avoid the main tourist attractions and meet up with ordinary people, taking photos and sharing stories. - While also meeting up with TL people in Korea, going for some big dinner and watch Proleague together - Visit Africa/Europe/America/Australia (all four, someday) - Go to Japan and meet/visit famous directors/animators/studios - Study smart and not study hard - Manage time better - Learn to drive - Do some workout every day (I'm quite skinny ) - Spend more time with my family - Enjoy life to my fullest
Thanks once again to all who wished me happy birthday, regardless of via PM, on my stream, in the General's thread, or any other thread/method.
Just keep living at your own pace and don't pressure yourself into doing things too quickly. Work out, keep doing the great things you do on TL and before you know it half of your resolutions will become true before you know it.
My 18th birthday amounted to me going to the 7/11, buying porn, a cigar and lotto tickets and in the end not getting carded and being told by the cashier 'Dude, aren't you like... 22?' Oh, and I got shitfaced.
So yeah. Hope yours was much more meaningful than mine.
Woke up, watched some VODs, played as a Z on ICCup (Protoss should still be banned imo), ate lunch, watched some anime, watched OSL group selection, then watched a few more VODs and some Haruhi.
Not such a meaningful birthday. My birthdays hardly were anyway.
there is nothing wrong with being skinny... as long as u dont look sick and anerexic. Gl to you though. Remember, all your resolutions will take a lot of time, and most of all PATIENCE!
I don't look anorexic, it's just that my arm muscles are quite.. undeveloped. My leg muscles (calves, I think) on the other hand are like 3-4x my arm width rofl.
