So tonight was my first ski club social meeting (i am the ski captain). things went well bla bla bla.
however i was sitting in the uni bar with my girlfriend at about 10pm when things were winding down and the last few ski club people were leaving when a group of what my girlfriend calls 'kool asians' walked in...
After they had sat down all except 2 of them walked over to the bar to get drinks, so i approached one of the remaining 2 like "hi, are you from a society?"
anyway i was talking to the only guy from south korea in the group (the rest were from nepal/malaysia). he was called wan-jung (sp?) and he knows all about Sc although not really into it, but is going to pass my number onto alot of people he knows who are way into SC.
Also one of the people in the group looks just like boxer, he has the same glasses and everything, although i told him this and he said it was just the glasses, although he knew what i meant haha.

Wow the more I hear about Korea the more awesome it gets. It's like you can talk to any random korean around the world and he will be like "SC? of course!". You don't even need to speak the same language, if you know the guy is korean you just do units sounds and you'll understand each other.

Cool, for some reason whenever I ask fobs bout starcraft, they say they havent played in a while or just aren't that interested.

true true, but seriously,,, 100% of korean guys have played starcraft. i haven't met a single korean guy who hasn't. i mean, it was THAT BIG in korea. i remember walking into pc cafes about 9 years ago, and holy shit, EVERYBODY was playing sc on computers. i only saw like 2 ppl playing lineage, the korean mmo out of like 50 others.. good times XD

Yeah this kid said "im not into it", but its a social thing so he's played a lot.
