Flash won a lot and dominated like no other to get that title while EffOrt won VANT and then years later, won the latest ASL while he was losing in the Ro16 or so. Ya, it's going to take EffOrt a lot of domination and several straight ASL championships before one can even think of him as a bonjwa, so I would say this is more opinion-based than anything else. Would the progamers vote 13-0 o 11-2 whenever Effort is facing anyone like they had done with Flash? I don't think so. Would BigFan say that Effort going anything less that 3-1 is out of the question? I think not yet. Flash is still the favourite regardless of who he's facing. It's true that he lost to EffOrt, but this loss doesn't cancel out his 3-3-3 or any of his other achievements. All this shows is that Flash's 1-1-1 needs a lot of work, and that assumes that he can make it still work considering what EffOrt showed in the series. Flash will still be the undisputed best BW player alive. That is out of the question!

The fact remains that Effort beat the 3-3-3 champion and at his 10-10-10 version of the 1-1-1 in a good 3-2 fashion. You can brag if/when Flash wins something important again

Being a fan is being happy for a player's success and spending over 3,000 balloons that day alone congratulating EffOrt. What you are doing is berating successful players like Rain, and throwing random insults around without proper thought or analysis because you feel like you are justified to do so. So either inform me of what I don't know, or at least try to offer something of substance other than this kind of garbage. Surely this isn't your best attempt at showing support for EffOrt.

If being as abrasive and idiotic is all you have to offer, I am truly sorry for mistaking there was going to be some productivity from your side of the table. Please go back to beating your drum, I won't stop you anymore.

go find something better to do instead trying to prove all the time people are wrong. you dont even know what it takes to win in Starcraft. and apparently do you have a huge passion in trash talking CJ players ( MA Bonjwa anyone? ) even when Effort win the ASL people are still down on him .. hilarious.

We are players, not observers, we don't care about bonjwa, god or whatever that seems worth arguing for you. We have been watching effort for years, we don't need your "deep analyses" to enlighten us about his legacy or results compare to Flash and other players over the years, we already know where he stands, we are happy he lived up to what he can do, and not just our expectations so that in the future, hopefully we would avoid having to read smart-ass post like yours. If arguments based on competitive results are useless to you, and all you trust is your own judgement, why even post on this thread? You already knew EffOrt was great. He would have been great to you even if he dropped out in the round of 24, or the round of 16. There is nothing to be taken from these tournaments, because EffOrt is whoever you say he is, and nothing can take that away since you have been watching him for years. Everybody who thinks otherwise knows less than you, and must be insulted. I come here to talk about competitive Brood War. If I wished to learn about the concepts involving the game separate from the comeptitive realm, I do so by talking to players far more insightful and skillful than yourself. So as you have no need for me, I have zero need for you. I will continue to discuss competitive Brood War, and hopefully you can learn to just ignore me rather than throwing non-stop poorly formulated fanboyism over EffOrt, based on zeal rather than actual well formulated insight. It really does not make me any wiser to know how much you watch EffOrt, and how well you think you know the game, when you offer nothing outside of that. Now, if you actually have anything containing insight or merit, I'm all ears.

Still, as 2009/2010 Jaedong was not given Bonjwa status, i don't see how can you call EffOrt a god! Jaedong did not provide enough domination despite obtaining 4 win on 8 starleagues followed by four consecutive finals going 1-3 and now you would tell me that EffOrt deserves to be considered a god just by winning two premier titles out of eight in two years?

I don't even think that was that big of a blunder. We've seen plenty of times Flash make mistakes, he's human. Usually his eye twitch will tell you that something in the terminator's brain is malfunctioning 😂😂
