The window is literally that tiny that you cant finish a cast but you will have dozens of wipes with a mediocre guild because of people thinking they still can "just finish this one little frostbolt before i start moving". And even though the last try you wiped to it the next guy will still try it too because he thinks its a different situation and his hardcast pyro will finish in time and he will be the hero with the murder deeps. It's similar for other bosses with move mechanics. Take KJ as an example. People know they have to move but you will still get a fire orb in melee because the mage/owl/warlock whatever just had to finish his cast before he decided to move his ass. Not because he doesnt know the ability. On most bosses you dont wipe immediately, only lose a guy or get some more raid dmg. Yeah hes right, its not about people not knowing, its about people getting greedy. In alot of ways Log ranks are probably the worst thing I have seen in this game since I came back. Back when i ran WOL + Show Spoiler + (World of logs) Parsing ranks are relatively meaningless in HC and Normal. The one tier I did mythic raiding it was all 99-100's by virtue of just being geared. I could be totally lazy and still parse on those. And on mythic parsing while important, is the biggest cancer I have ever encountered. Through the first two tiers my guild went from being like in the mid 300's in kill times to 100-120 in ranks at the end just by virtue of phasing out parselords who were only value on farm content.

i do dps parses to push myself and compare vs previous performances on ez content that people will stomp either way, that rarely crosses over well into mythic.. even Garothi and Goroth went terribly when people got into the wrong mindsets

I honestly dont know, I have been fortunate enough to not have played with anyone like that.

This would be the time to spam the crap out of Legion LFR Unlucky man, I always got mine well before 80% I guess you're repeatedly doing an activity that awards more % in the add-on than it actually does, but what could that be..

Very unlucky or bugged for sure, the slowest i've recorded by far since ~november droprate buff and it's also enough to show error in the weights since it wouldn't happen without that error as well lol mostly invasion point but i've done so many and seen so many legendaries drop in them that it's really unusually slow Got it at 117% right before the reset, KJ's burning wish

Am I missing something or is Assassination just always going to be a great deal of just pooling energy? Outlaw with SnD has consistent energy, a nice kind of wax and wane burst feel to it, and I love it, but I'd also like to get into Ass because I like having two specs for my pure DPS classes so if one is just heinously terrible I have a fallback option. Any advice for Assassination?

I tried Outlaw and liked it, specced SnD and now LOVE it Heard this from every outlaw rogue that i've played with since nighthold, not that many but they were pretty much 100% SnD-or-die and hating on RTB. I agree with a lot of that and am hoping they make it the core style for future play since they gave it a backseat and balanced it poorly throughout legion can't say that i know much about ass (;D ;D) or sub though

I've heard bad things about 58-80 but so far it's more than fine. At 58 you unlock 2 dungeons, do 1 to hit 59, unlock 2 more, do 1 to hit 60, unlock 2 more ... No complaints so far

No complaints so far Did you check the health on bosses? Some stuff might have been hotfixed without patch notes; i saw some weird changes mid-leveling myself. When i hit 60 the bosses in Zul'Farrak had around 400-500k hp, in WOTLK around 60% of that and in TBC around 30% - all of them scale to level 60 and allow for queue.

I've been paying some attention to boss hp and it seems like classic bosses had close to 300k HP when I was around lvl 55, while the bosses in TBC/WOTLK are around 250k-300k while I'm 62 now. On that note, 62 and 4 new dungeons unlocked along the way, they must've patched something because right now 60-80 is looking much better than 1-60 and that goes against pretty much everything I've read Also what the guy above me said is so true, only ~3 bosses per dungeon and no maze-like interiors filled with high hp trash packs.
