Do we know if stuff like Int/Str are going to be back to being base stats that are needed for upgrades. As of now i don't know of any class (the ones i play at least) that don't care for Int/Str/Agility they are all focuses on Crit/Haste etc, i find that terrible design as it just makes Str/Agi/Int useless to put on the item.

The secondary stat changes i think i need to do some more reading up to understand but the way i see that is a bad thing no?

That's quite normal towards the end of an expansion, secondary weights scale out of control with gear. They've increased by like 2.5 - 3x relative to mainstat since the start of legion for me, that change might be aimed at controlling that (more secondary gain when they're worth less each, less secondary gain when they're worth more each) but it's really hard to say how it will play out without a closer look at the numbers.

Hmmm, ok. Hope that is good and it sounds "good", just hope bis stats start with Int being best for mage, Strength for warriors etc etc. Just think it silly when your best item is one that has 100 crit more as a mage rather than has 200 int more etc

It is not the difficulty per se. It is that there is only one thing to do, run a very specific pattern one time. That is the only mechanic you have to do. And if you do that one thing slightly wrong it is a wipe. It is the lamest thing I have ever seen.

In contrast Coven is a real boss fight with many different mechanics and is much more organic.

If everyone spent the time that they needed to understand that one thing before pulling you could kill the boss within 10 pulls instead of 50-100

In a way i like to see a boss like that which is objectively easy but straight up impossible if people don't know how to play, it made it very obvious which people were not researching bosses properly if at all. Unfortunately when that's the majority of an above average mythic guild it doesn't play out in a particularly fun way.

Nah its not about research. Not on a boss with a single ability anyway. This is about people being greedy dps tunnelers and on every boss that has a raidwipe when 1 fucks up it leads to countless wipes because everyone of your greedy fucks has to do the mistake once. Especially your retarded mongo mages and warlocks and moonkins. This is a boss where you have to cancel your castbar and fucking move with the tank A S A P, not when YOUR cast finishes. Unfortunately every single dps has to go through the "i finished my 5second channel hardcast pyro/fullmoon before i decided to move" and thus we missed the timing by .2seconds and spread the aids to the group. On the next pull they will hopefully not do the same mistake and move on time. The problem is that now someone else got the ability first and does the mistake, because they think they are special and for them it will work out but it doesnt. And then you have people who just dont learn but you have to keep them in the raidgroup so its down to getting that one try where they just dont get targetted by the ability. AND THEN theres the "my class is bad at swapping to priority target so i didnt do it" people...

That's the only wipes we have atm. Walking with necrotic is fine but we have 3 Affliction Warlocks doing <1% add dmg each pull, putting some strain on the other DPS.

As for coven being more interesting, I'm the designated Asara tank so I literally just stand there taunting and DPSing, give me Vari any day

Knowing when you should tunnel and when you can't is a huge part of fight research

we had like a whole raid day of trying to explain that one mechanic to people before getting to the stage that you're talking about as well
