Seal him into a workspace and make him finish Berserk, god dammit.

I wonder what that could mean the finale of the Casca's Mind Arc will entail...
|
I actually dont think the finale will be about the rape, the entire scene in the forest is already Casca trying to reject it plus her mind was probably already shutting down at that point in the Eclipse.

Judging from what is currently going on, is it safe to say that Casca is still torn between Guts and Griff from seeing them fighter each other? Or is that her fear of knowing that they will both eventually be forced to kill each other that is forcing her to be repress her memory

it's alot deeper than that. Her state was more or less resulted in being forced to accept rape, to the man she was in love with. For him to rape her, which is pretty disgusting way to treating a person who had affections for you to attack another fellow man, (no surprise due to japan) is mind blowing. All the while harboring feelings to a person who treated her right simultaneously attempting to come to grips with the other. it's pretty mind-shattering in that sense, and very believable.

miura-sensei has finally awakened from his slumber! rejoice!
P.S. inb4 he takes another 6 month break to work on season 3 of the anime

Or is that her fear of knowing that they will both eventually be forced to kill each other that is forcing her to be repress her memory I dont think she's torn between them at all. Her memories are all dark, torn, hostile and cold. Everything leading up to the eclipse she subconsiously hated, she supressed that she was just a pawn for Griffith. What she's seeing now is Guts defiance and fight trying to protect her, that Guts is even willing to let himself be consumed by the beast of darkness and become a monster if it means he can defend her and his companions.
My guess is armored-dogguts will defeat the black hawk but stay in berserk mode until within the dream Casca awakens and calm him. Schrieke will be unable to link up within Guts since they are caught within Casca's mind and not the real world. This goes along with Farnese realization that she will never be with Guts as he's in love with Casca and Shrieke realizing that Casca is what Guts truly needs to ease his rage. Basically Farnese represents the physical while Shrieke the mental/spiritual and Casca is what Guts truly need in both realms. Casca is a victim and indirectly hero/savior.
Casca being able to directly calm the beast of darkness is a feat beyond what everyone else in the party has ever done before. The beast is a direct reference of a fylgje from the heathren religion, a spirit that guides and represent a persons personality. Currently the beast of darkness is a corrupted hostile dog however dog fylgjes was usually viewed as stoic loyal protectors and not the raging beast it currently is, I could see Casca being able to "cleanse" it.
However. This doesn't necessarily mean she wakes up or survives and could lead to the bitter sweet ending Miura has talked about, Casca will "live on" within Guts as his salvation and somehow their child will be seperated from Femo leading to Griffiths death.

I hope Casca kills herself once they fix her.

I didn't even think about it until you've bumped this thread but 2018 being this close means we will soonish perhaps see 1 or 2 chapters! Can't wait /s

chapter 353 is out!
I had to start reading it from 350 to get in the groove of it and pick the proceedings up but reading it like this was actually quite fun a lot better than an occasional chapter barely moving the storylines along.

Chapter 354 is out! Having read it I can only say + Show Spoiler + HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE

Seeing the bird and the dog fight reminds me of monster hunter. Any else got the impression?
|
I was too busy thinking about how trolly the bird started to look after it got an eye.

hell, it's about time miura sensei wrapped that arc up
|
What do you think will happen now that Casca has a cursed heart wrapped in something evil?
