Yeah will depend on what referee about that incident, I also don't know how exactly retroactive action in France works because every league has their own stupid rules about that. However running into the referee to protest against a card is ridiculously stupid

The PSG lineup is definitely good enough on paper, but I can't help feeling the uncontested domestic league has dulled out some of the edge.

And as good as Lyon may be, they are not exactly Real Madrid yet. I think the bigger worry for PSG is the tensions within the team resulting from jealousy / vanities and the special status of Neymar. The coach is also often criticized and might not make it to the end of the season. Well and their defense is straight up not good.

I kind of feel like the tensions are partly because of how little pressure they've got in the domestic league. When there's no drama & competition outside, the team starts finding it in the inside. They're probably not the most compatible team chemistry in the first place, but the lack of meaningful short term objectives is what really makes it boil over. I've done the Finnish military service, I know how it goes when you bunch together a group of young men and give them too few meaningful activities to focus

UEFA want a limit of 100 million euros between transfer income and expenditure Basically 100 million euro max deficit from transfers and 25 max players in the squad... I hope they address the state owned clubs too.

The 25 man squad thing is bit silly as that is what most leagues and clubs are anyway right? I mean even Man City who had world class reserve let alone bench only have 23 man squad

Because this is all that PSG and City have been doing, getting on level terms with what Chelsea did 10 years earlier...

I think adding a transfer cap could be a good idea, or maybe just saying your only allowed to spend up to £150million a window no matter who you are. Chelsea is given as an example of having a 60-men squad. I don't know what is the deal there, but apparently that is a bad practice and UEFA wants to remove it.

But only if you count players that are away on loan, Chelsea B team, etc. etc. I don't know what they consider a squad if Chelsea is a 60-man squad.
