Derozan's offense is great. his defense... not so much... Kyle "slo mo" Anderson just "blew by" Derozan Casey fuming calls a TO.
i'm so glad to see Casey calling plays making JV the featured scorer late in close games. 2 years ago that never, ever happened.
folks... Spencer Dinwiddie is more than just a basketball player.. the man is a floor general.

I hate "posterizing" 99% of the time it's a guard who gets a full head of steam because of poor perimeter defense and the poor center has to try to make a play.

They held the Thunder scoreless for the last 1:30 of garbage time after the Thunder hit 148. I was so proud of their effort.

wiggins is a below average shooter this year. he has been a below average shooter his entire career.
now, here is a guy who is improving in every facet of the game. https://streamable.com/lrm1c

+1. It's so annoying that someone who is making the "brave" play gets made fun of. Half the time the dunks aren't even that impressive. Like what do you expect for someone charging the basket against a stationary figure?

One thing to note about Wiggins is that he creates a lot of his shots by himself. People who do that can be more efficient and valuable than their percentages suggest I think - like Russel Westbrook or Jamal Crawford.

how many Woj moles do the Cavs have on the roster? if IT is the one yapping to Woj he'll definitely get traded.

the % of assisted FGs for Wiggins are way higher than for Butler and Teague. Wiggins gets set up ... a lot. Wiggins has ~150 unassisted FGs out of ~350 made.
Wiggins creates about as much "on his own" as your average small forward... maybe a bit less.

Russell Westbrook creates his own shot way, way, way more often than Wiggins. its not close.
Overall, Wiggins is a slight positive on the offensive end despite his poor shooting efficiency. a stat like Adjusted Plus/Minus or RAPM or xRAPM effectively captures Wiggins positive influence on offense. Boxscore stats don't.

I havent watched all of his games but I get the impression that he generates a lot of his shots by himself. And I dont think that is completely contradicted by him being assisted on many field goals - I mean what is an assist really? Some one passed the ball to you and you scored. You could have created that shot for yourself anyway (see coach Nicks video for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhP6TsgeMOY).

he generates about as many shots himself as your average small forward. he is no where near the shot creator westbrook is. not even close. which is why stats related to it are so widely divergent between westbrook and wiggins.
assisted FG% can give you a ballpark idea. westbrook and wiggins are not in the same ballpark.
from watching the games i'd say Crawford generates his own shots more than Wiggins. the difference isn't huge.. but its noticeable. same with Butler. he generates his own shots substantially more than Wiggins and the difference is noticeable.
