That being said it is odd of the 40 games they had to pick to retire PP they pick the one with a conflict. Poor planning on the celts part. My understanding is that IT's video was supposed to be on the first Cav's game. Got pushed back because IT wanted to wait until he was playing.
People in this area love PP because he stuck around through some garbage teams and gave everything he had. We tend to overlook his narcissism because he was playing for our team, happens to a lot of players in this area. Schilling is an a-hole but he's a legend, Brady is crazy but he's a god, Tim Thomas ate free wherever he wanted for a long time. Winning once buys you a lot of leeway to be a crappy person.

IT should have received the tribute the first time around, even if he was not playing. He should have brought his family then to celebrate the occasion.
PP is petty and dumb. Lots of things happening in a 48 minute game - kiss cam, guitar cam, fan of the day, all sorts of specials and announcements. This is a total non-issue. Moreover, he should have never brought this out in public.
The Celtic management is the ultimate fault here. They should have covered all the bases and talked to all parties before they finalized anything.
What a mess. And to be honest, PP is way out of line bitching about this by sheer superstar power.
Super S-Class: MJ, Kobe S-Class: KD, LBJ, TD, Shaq S-Class (2nd team): Kawhi, Curry, Iverson A-Class: Ray Allen, KG, Kidd, B-Class: Nash, Payton C-Class: Pierce, RJefferson, Marion, Vin Baker

And I totally disagree with your iverson level, maybe he should be there based on how he did. But he would be way up there, he was the leagues most popular player for quite a while. In your list I'd put him S class. http://www.nba.com/nuggets/news/iverson_jersey_sales_032608.html On second thought, yah

i think if LBJ tries to play all 82 games this year he'll EITHER get injured and miss games OR he'll be battling a nagging injury going into the playoffs and not be 100%. Last year he took off 8 "rest games". So far this year he has 0 "rest games".

Chris Paul is the best general in the NBA. He orchestrated a pincer attack with Capela knocking on the front door to create a distraction while he took his army to attack the Clippers through a backdoor passage. When that failed, he got away with only sacrificing Ariza and Green for 2 games each.

OG Anunoby is so much better than CJ Miles and Norm Powell.

It never occurred to me, but I assume the teams pay for hotels and travel. Do you think they get a food stipend?

there is this theory Cleveland players are intentionally losing to convince the owner to trade for a good player.
if that is the case LBJ has a great acting career ahead of him. he could kick Harrison Ford's ass with this acting job here. https://streamable.com/emcuo
1 Way Lowry Is NOT Playing As Recklessly As In Previous Years sub-5 foot FGAs up until January 18th of every year. 17-18: 108 16-17: 171 15-16: 199 14-15: 183
Lowry leads the league in taking charges, but I've never seen him get injured taking a charge.
