Think i finally figured out the bug causing eyebeam to cancel itself 0.1s after the cast starts
There is a proc on the Havoc artifact called Inner Demons, a small chance for Chaos Strike to create a slightly delayed (about 1 second delayed) AOE burst of damage at the target. With some low-ish amount of haste (meta, heroism, trinket proc or even just baseline haste if you have enough [edit: about 15.8%]) this lag time is longer than the global cooldown which allows you to cast the eyebeam but breaks the cast when the Inner Demons damage applies.
A similar thing used to happen with some trinket procs but you could just unequip those trinkets, we're stuck using this trait
You can see the Demon proc and then cast the eyebeam on the next GCD if the proc activated and it instabreaks every time:
Can be mitigated by casting other spells before eyebeam and/or confirming no proc on the strike that you just cast before pressing eyebeam - random breaking would be much worse. Hope this gets fixed soon along with t19 working on blind fury~!
There are a lot of red flags that stop me from applying to m+ groups. Itemlvl requirements in the title but not as an actual requirement, childish descriptions ("big dick dps" etc) and the word "boost" is autofiltered in my lfg tool. I also don't apply to +11-15 groups who put 3chest in the title - it's entirely possible with me, but if you put that in the title I'll most likely just encounter stupid nerd rage over 1 guy making a simple mistake.
I have found the same and accordingly avoid groups advertising three chest like the plague. It's actually incredible how predictive lfg listing language can be in terms of the quality of a group.
Three chesting keys over 10-12 usually mean playing very well, and that's hard in pure pug groups. The only times I've +3 +12keys was with my guild really.
Just got a 910 Convergence of Fate in my Mythic cache. Game is trolling me since that trinket used to be gamebreaking for Monk and is now the shittiest of the raid instance. And I had 900 trinkets already, so it's barely even an upgrade agility wise.
I just put level 10-17 aiming 2-3 chest in title - consistently doing 1chest runs is quite inefficient, better to drop the level if neccesary.
>15 doesn't give better rewards but a level or two over it for a good key isn't bad; below 10 is too easy and unrewarding if the group is good
People are probably thrown off by the vagueness of this description. Also most ppl that offer their own key either make their own group or join a full boost group.
Last week i got a really nice group and breezed through NH. This week i wipe on krosus enrage timer.
4 people dying to slam/bridge collapse 5 people sub 400k till the end and 1 840 equipped alt that the leader wanted to pull through saying that we should be good enough for it.
I cleared NH with some friends and PUG's all the way through 10/10n and 10/10h with one wipe on botanist trash (of course) and one wipe on H gul'dan this week; getting a lot more efficient.
My gear is insanely good for lacking mythic nighthold stuff at the moment and i got a cinidaria today so i have strong options for all situations now. It'll even help for tanking aggro - instead of hitting for 100 damage, every new target gets hit for 130 and heals you for 30 so that's a lot more threat. Good for skittish and easier to snap aggro & keep pulling for solid momentum in m+~
The legendary that i'd stylistically like is the shoulder (meta CD) but i'm no longer going to get 4-5% more damage on a fight because of any drop tomorrow so that feels really nice to be over with for a while
What's your guy's favorite fight in Nighthold? I've only done Normal, but I think Elisandre is really cool. I like how the adds are used for completely different ways each phase of the fight. Guldan is a complete blast as well.

Getting 905+ just from Normal and Heroic is pretty normal these days. Anything I didnt get WF or TF i just coined again till it did.
Meanwhile I have 4 of the worst 9 available legendaries for my specc its kinda tilting when people next to you are looting 2x bis in 2 hours of play time between them,
As tank i only like guldan. The other fights are all pretty boring and you dont have to do anything. Guldan requires at least some form of cd management and having an eye on that energy bar. Only done heroic though.
