Usually one guy avoids the slump and carries the team to safety though. Last year it was Stats. This year it's not happening atm.
Also would be nice if those interviews had, I don't know, English subtitles.

He'll probably be the only KeSPA Terran at Blizzcon though.
I hope not... he does not deserve to be considered the best terran. He made GSL finals only because he had the easiest oponents. He is just pure mediocre against the best players and its showing time and time again. Maru will make it
the flair checks out
It's strange. I'm sure Jin Air fans used to be like regular people.
Some of us still are. Maru love is a weird...thing...
Your love of DRG and San must keep you sane or something.

He made to the GSL finals because his TvT is godlike, and his other matchups are good enough to make it through group stages
TvT is his best matchup until he meets a top tier Terran. Maru shrecks him all the time, Inno is struggling at LOTV but he would have trouble against him for sure. He loses constantly to sOs, zest, he is no match for dark, hi proleague record is very bad. I really cant consider a player who has such mediocre results against the best players a top tier player, he beat Dream and Cure to get to GSL finals... that says it all, lol.
And Maru is not doing well enough outside of Proleague to be called the best Terran.

I agree, although... Zest. And skill wise he is still way better then TY which is kinda obvious if you see them play, even head to head. he was just unlucky getting the toughest opponents/groups possible.

I watch those few games they play against each other and I'm in awe that both of them are at such a high level. They're never one-sided, I don't know which ones you are watching.

It's going to be TaeJa one last time because he eliminated the reigning GSL champion from his retirement home (a PC cafe where he plays Overwatch with Ryung)

I would say skill wise = Maru Overall taking results into consiredation = TY (although I really dont like his showings against good players, there is no denying he achieved the most in LOTV so far, lucky draws or not)

Both players make a priority list of all maps. They are matched up against each other to see which ones are played. The highest priority map overall between both players is played first, etc.
