So it's really just Xeno and Puck. Xeno really should have got out of his group..... damn I forgot about Neeb. He looked strong last year. Then he must have stopped playing or something. iAsonu has been playing really well lately in chinese tournaments and apparently has a pretty high ranking on the KR ladder. He just doesnt get a lot of attention since the chinese scene is so tucked away. I dont think it's safe to say that Xeno should have gotten out of his group. iA seems like the better player

It's times like these where I feel like we need full citizenship locking for WCS. No more Koreans period. Which would be unfair since GSL/SSL aren't region locked and some guys like Polt and ForGG would be forced to leave the regions if they wanted to continue to be pros, after years of living there.
And its not like it would solve the problem either. The LCS gets away with such strict residency requirements both because of the weekly live even aspect and the fact that every region has at least a competitive team or two. A "WCS USA" or even a true WCS AM wouldn't solve the issue of there being nearly no Americans, let alone Canadians or Major that can stand at the world stage. Honestly league got lucky the TSM/C9 exist in NA, Fnatic/SK in EU, and the lot of Chinese teams that, even before Korean imports, still could be great.

We either go full region lock and give players some actual motivation to be the top of their scene, or we force Koreans to practice on NA and give them some our players some good practice so they can compete better on a world level. Right now we have neither of them and the problems are only getting worse

Quite simple actually. NA ladder needs a revival. If they did that, every Korean more would actually help immensely when it comes to practice. Like having ForGG is definitely a huge plus for European players and Bunny and the other top players were actually sad when MC, First, Yoda and the rest left.
I have no idea why players were sad about MC and co leaving.. It's not like they came close to winning anything last year with a year full of Koreans in the EU ladder... -.-

Because now it's hard for them to find good practice. So it's kinda like being sad and happy at the same time I guess? Sure they have it easier to win money now, but some top players actually care more about becoming better .

Well in the long run they could actually win championships due to the better practice and in the end win even more money I guess? Well anyway that's what Bunny said and I see his point, ask him yourself if you want to know more about his thoughts .

So we force better players to play on NA how? Making Koreans do games on it dind't really hellp because they half-assed the bare minimum amount, so what do we do? I mean, argueably the 2 best ladder players in NA in Scarlett and Kane are going to school at the end of the year so we lose them soon even. As for the ladder, force the players playing in the NA region to practice on NA ladder for starters. Players like Stardust and JaeDong practice pretty much exclusively on the KR ladder.

So we force better players to play on NA how? Making Koreans do games on it dind't really hellp because they half-assed the bare minimum amount, so what do we do? I mean, argueably the 2 best ladder players in NA in Scarlett and Kane are going to school at the end of the year so we lose them soon even. And Blizzard hasn't given a shit about maphackers for a long time we can't expect them to start now. If the coaches in Proleague complain about maphacking rather than talk about their games, you know it's an issue. I have no idea why Blizzard is so lax about that, but it's a huge problem . As for the ladder, force the players playing in the NA region to practice on NA ladder for starters. Players like Stardust and JaeDong practice pretty much exclusively on the KR ladder. Let's be real here, Blizzard is lax about hackers because they dont' dedicate the manpower to Sc2 to even come close to dealing with it. It's doubtful they ever will. As for your 2nd point, thats quite difficult to do with the prevelance of smurfs and barcodes, but that's basically the only way to do anything I guess.
