The strategic variation was so much higher than it is now, and pre-Infestor days the game was amazing to watch. I just watched Nestea vs Boxer (MKP) for the first time and I really enjoyed it. Despite the cheese-fest, the game feels so much slower, giving players more time to think and micro. And it is easier on the person watchin too.

HotS is more intense, which can be fun as well, but it also feels incredibly rigid with little breathing room for variety. This game was a prime example of what 2011 TvZ could be. Just excellent pacing throughout a very exciting and diverse game.
