soO sits in his room after his 4th GSL finals loss he has 5 silver medals that lie in his room. Every medal is painful reminder of the place he always seems to finish. He sits and questions his career, his team, himself. He sits on his bed contemplating what's gone wrong and why he can't seem to win the whole thing despite being nearly unbeatable beforehand. As he was getting low iloveoov walks into his room. "soO son I'm so sorry you couldn't win this time" iloveoov said sounding despaired. "I wish I could just close it out, I feel so good before hand but I just can't do it.." soO trailed off. "You're best on the team, and I believe once you win one you will be unstoppable." iloveoov said as he left the room. A week later the Blizzcon bracket was finalised. soO looked at it and there was the path of redemption. It was possible for him to takedown every one that had stopped him in the GSL this year. Firstly he would have to take down the King of foreign events none other than Liquid'TaeJa arguable the most consistent and strongest terran SC2 has ever seen. So soO trained harder than ever before the match crushing on ladder left and right, fully stating himself as No.1. He was in imperious form as Blizzcon loomed. Soon he had taken the plane with his fellow teamates and was in America ready for his showdown with TaeJa. The time came and soon they were about to jump into map number 1. All that stood between soO and performing live at Blizzcon was the strong Liquid terran. However, the match wasn't long after three games it was over, soO had crushed TaeJa with his strong standard play. His play was an ominous reminder to the others competing that soO was on form. Next up for soO was his newest teammate and most recent tormentor INoVation. INoVation has beaten soO in the most recent GSL final, despite being 2-0 up soO could not get closer to closing it out and lost confidence and tilted. Not this time though, soO was out for revenge and he was going to make sure that he would get it. Out on the Blizzcon stage infront of thousands of screaming fans soO and INoVation got ready to duel once again. It was a fast paced and back forth series however after four games soO emerged ontop again demonstrating his fantastic ZvT play. While other zerg's were struggling in matchup soO was showing that it could be done. soO's had made it to the round of four, he was within touching distance of another final on the biggest in StarCraft. However, it would be against soO's nemesis. Zest. Zest and soO had played three high profile matches against each other during the year the first being the fantastic GSL final that should have been soO's. The second had been in the GSL Global Tournament where again Zest had edged soO 3-2 in another tight close series. However, the time they had most recently played had landed in soO's favour despite 3-1 on the brink of elimination and his Blizzcon hopes looking bleak soO fought a great comeback with strong play and strange builds and won 4-3. Now as he prepared to face his rival for the fourth time soO was confident and ready he was going to beat Zest. And beat Zest he did in a very tight close series which narrowly finished 3-2 in soO's favour. soO had made the Blizzcon final. It was his sixth final of the year which was an amazing feat. soO had now revenged himself against two of those who beat him in GSL finals. But now stood in his way was the last one. Classic. If soO could beat Classic he could redeem himself in the most fantastic way possible. While not the strongest player at Blizzcon Classic was still crafty, it was his use of sneakiness which allowed him to beat soO in their first meeting in the GSL that Classic had won. Still soO was undeterred. He was ready to fight for his life. To find out how it ends watch the Blizzcon finals on November 8th  | ||
