A good post... in this thread?
Not to say that I've really posted stuff to improve the general post quality.

How did this become a chat thread? It should probably be remade a few days before blizzcon.

Be gentle, I'm not a writer:
He stared into the thousands of fans in the audience while he selected his map vetoes, and thousands of faces stared back. His opponent and friend, Lee Shin Hyung, was standing next to him waiting for his turn to eliminate the maps he disliked. Even though it had been a few months since they had been teammates, the bonds they formed haven't disappeared. Playing his friend wouldn't be easy, but he had to do it if he wanted to kiss the trophy again. It had been three years since he had last won in front of an audience this large...
He stared at the screen as the letters appeared on his screen: "gg." This was it. This was the moment he had dreamed of since the first time he had played StarCraft. He stood up from his chair, and looked at 'best player in the world' sitting across the stage from him. The background noise faded out as his mind struggled to process what just happened. He moved absentmindedly. The lights focused on him, people surrounded him. "MMA!" He thought he heard his handle. "MMA!" He looked forward at the mob of people in front of him. "MMA!" All of a sudden everything came into focus. "MMA! MMA! MMA! MMA!" The tidal wave of energy crashed down on him as thousands of people chanted his name in unison, the name of a champion. A shiver ran up his spine. "This is one of the moments that defines you." The thought passed through his mind as he burned every detail of it into his memory.
3-3. The series was tied up. One more game. One more game until he stands on the stage again. He's done it a few times since then, but none of them have ever compared. The loading bar moved slowly on screen. Polt's face flashed through his mind. He took down the rival that had caused him so many problem throughout his career to get here. Stardust and Jaedong too. This one game was nothing compared to his path here..The tanks transformed into siege mode as the marines stimmed forward to destroy the enemy's production. His opponent threw everything and the kitchen sink at him, but nothing could break the force wreaking havoc in his base. "gg." He pulled out his earphones and dashed over to his friend to shake his hand for a battle well fought. "MMA! MMA!" The chant started as he chatted briefly with his fallen opponent. The lights blinded him as he turned the corner of the booth. It had been three years...
