I hope lycan considers giving you persmission, i really enjoy your quick mp3 uploads. The longer it takes for mp3 to be uploaded, the less interested i am usually in listening to them :S

We took the Windows 10 approach
Actually, there was a small issue getting episode 2 up. It was taken down, but it's coming up NLT tomorrow. Really sorry about the hold up for those who didn't get to catch it live.
(Episode 3) Concerning the first segment, I also agree that there are just too many issues mixed in the gamergate hashtag and as with most controversial stuff, people look at it in black and white. You should watch this video by George Weidman, a journalist who does game reviews and gaming related editorials:
Also, in all honesty, I don’t understand why Thorin went off the way he did, Lycan asked him a simple question, essentially the same question he asked Richard – combining the issues of journalistic integrity, the relationships journalists have with the people they write about and the current situation in esports, what do you think is the biggest problem right now. Even if Thorin didn’t listen to Richard’s answer, the question could as well be understood as “last thoughts on the topic of gamergate?” There is no need to go on a tirade and sorry but Destiny had only a small part in the Poland incident.

Do you take topic suggestions from the TL thread Lycan?
Of course!
I'm begging you on my bare knees
Please give me permission to host mp3s of your podcast. I don't expect you to thank me or anything, and I certainly will not earn any money doing this. However what I'm offering is a service for your fans including me, where they will be able to get mp3 almost immediately. Quite a few people have requested that I include your show.

Pretty please!?
What this guy said, I'm super busy these days and it would be great to listen to the audio while at work. Latest show was good, albeit I'm only about halfway in
I couldn't agree more with Rotti on the inbuilt tournaments for SC2, have varying entrance fees from free to £15 make them 32 players each blizzard take 10% or other small percentage and then the rest gets spread for top 3. My only fear is that this will dilute ladder a bit because the good players will do tournaments.
It's the biggest no-brainer there has EVER been since SC2 launched. They'd already implemented it with good results in WC3 ffs!
That's not even including it as a potential revenue stream of sorts. Wouldn't be massive amounts but opening a hypothetical Bnet automated tournament system to tournament organisers and taking a small cut of things.
I don't even think they need SC2 to be profittable - as a company they're making money from Hearthstone and WoW and it's in their interest to support a big IP like Starcraft from that money. So money or resources aren't really a valid reason why some features haven't been implemented yet...

It is a valid reason. They are weighting the cons and pro's, and losing money is definitely a con. Satisfying a small niche is really just a very little pro.
Do you think Dota 2 was making money day one? As a company Valve has good money from Steam so they invested in Dota 2 and over time the design decisions they made turned into several revenue streams. Sure, making money would be nice but Blizzard can afford to invest into SC2, they just chose not to (development-wise, at least).

I guess that would fall into online gambling in many countries, making it illegal.
