Spazer Canada8028 Posts July 02 2014 04:40 GMT #991 Uhhh, there used to be both. But S@X pulls some insane attendance for PM. We're talking like 90 man brackets for a weekly PM tourney. Needless to say, scheduling gets pretty strained when both events are held. Recently, when Melee is streamed, it's usually only winners semis onwards at best. I believe there was some talk lately of making it a bi-weekly thing? Not too sure on this part. Edit: So yeah. But I prefer melee, cause I'd rather watch a bunch of foxes go at it (I don't really even like fox that much, bird>fox) than Diddy Kong, Lucas, Sonic, because, despite the variation in characters, those guys all have one (two?) thing in common; they are quite fast and have very good recoveries. Like Samus/Peach Melee level recoveries. Edit: Thanks for the info Spazer!

People are welcome to submit the other events to the calender though

onlywonderboy United States23745 Posts July 02 2014 14:10 GMT #994 I'm glad there is a good sized PM tournament I can watch each week. Melee often overshadows it at other tournaments so it's nice that it gets the spotlight somewhere. NEO/PGH is very anti-PM so I gotta enjoy it where I can lol.

Arguably the most prominent Zelda player. He went to EVO last year, and I think he's got plans to go again this year.
