Two things as public notice: 1. + Show Spoiler [Quarterfinals 1 spoiler] +Congrats to Fnatic, they played superbly and glgl to them in the Semis! No one is saying that Fnatic only won because of the level 1 in Game 3. Please keep the nationalistic statements out of our subforum. 2. Riot's Worlds format is atrocious. Let's not beat a dead horse here. I will certainly be talking to Riot's eSports dept about it in the near future. I simply ask everyone to be civil. Humble in victory, graceful in defeat. Enjoy the games~ -Neo, Sept 23rd, 3:20 PM PDT, page 120 |

I wonder how bad IG's mid laner is then if they lose the ahri v fizz matchup that badly you just can't use spells other than Q to farm in that match up, Nagane displayed a complete lack of match up knowlege for how to lane her vs. Fizz. Which is weird considering I would think pro mid laners would know most if not all matchups, let alone a super common one like this Nagne is a sub Ozone died for nothing He's a "sub" who played basically every NLB match. Nagne is better than SSONG at this point. I believe he only played 2 matches with Sword actually. Either way, OGN confirmed over rated except SKT. I don't have to feel like a pleb when watching LCS anymore. But Najin wasn't even in OGN this season :O

while the region gaps a lot smaller than people said they were, ogn still a lot more fun to watch since the teams have so long to prepare. I really wish LCS takes the OGN format because more prep=better games imo

I don't even think NJBS had that much hype to begin with, Ozone just failed so hard that passangers on that train had to find alternative one to hop on to.

OGN still is a much higher level of play. Koreans play at a much higher level against each other then against the other regions I think and they can reform bad teams into good teams really quick. Their results as worlds have been somewhat dissapointing so far though, yes.

yes they were, they didn't make it out of groups since they went 1-1 with every team in the group

It's clear indeed that the top korean teams aren't unbeatable tho I still think they have an edge. We still have teams like Blaze, Frost en KT Bullets who aren't even at worlds but all probably stronger then NJBS. Higher number of amazing teams.

I mean you can make fun of OGN watchers all you want for saying Ozone would go 8-0 in groups, but even we had no idea how good sword was.

im pretty sure russians are angry that euros try to identify with gambit as 'their' team. russians take a lot of pride in what they do

People fail to understand NJS is a Korean team... That didn't make it through group play last OGN and will most likely not even qualify for the next season.
It's hard to count them as part of the «Korean hype train».

I wonder how bad IG's mid laner is then if they lose the ahri v fizz matchup that badly Zzitai is one of the best mid laner in China, mechanically stronger than Cool imo. The problem of IG is their jungle and top lane. I think they lane swapped zzitai with kid They swapped back for regionals.
Kid is a very good AD who is hamstrung by how hard he has to carry XiaoXiao every game.
